OT now but i'm sat here watching toddlers & tiaras and OMG why oh why to those kids parents make them do it!???? The kids are screaming and crying they dont want to practice walking around waving, and they make the kids look so fake! A little girl with teeth missing, like every other 6 year old is wearing false teeth just to look perfect!!
All i can see is these kids are crying and screaming and behaving like little spoilt brats and OMG they are so ungrateful if they dont win the supreme prize! other kids who don't win trophies are sat there being good and a child who wins a huge trophy is sat there showing off because that wasnt to top prize!!!!!

    Sorry rant over

I used to like drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon beer (and have got a PBRB T shirt) and I play the banjo. Do I qualify as a redneck?:rotfl::rotfl:

  • I'm not a fan of I-phones and hate the idea of giving my money to the americans....sorry just my politics but I dislike US policies around the world and also their highly protectionist business practices!

I do however actually need a reliable network thats actually gonna work so 3 is not an option lol.

Good job I don't need to make a decisoon just yet! :rotfl:

    Thanks for the reply. :)

Go and have a play about on an iPhone. I'm 90% certain after about 20 minutes you'll be hooked!

In fact, if you give it a fair chance I'll put my money where my mouth is. If you don't like it I'll donate a fiver to the PDSA. If you do like it you donate a fiver towards the charity of your choice?

Thanks rufydoofyM. Ideally I'll be looking at the coast because I need to know that if Mum's ill she won't feel as guilty being laid up in her room (it means I can still go down to the beach on my own, yes I'm 24 but she'd worry like crazy if I had to get on a bus or something! :p:o)

Been to both Barcelona and Palma, though only on fleeting visits. They are both very lovely, Barcelona in particular. I'd really like to try somewhere new but Barcelona is great because you have the best of both worlds :j

And thank you for the tip about booking everything seperately, I must say I'm going to need to do a lot of research before I book anything as I really don't have the foggiest :o

What about an appartment, so your mum would have lots of space to relax if she doesn't feel like going out. I go away with my mum and we had a lovely one near Alvor, on the Algarve in Portugal last year. The year before another lovely one in Mijas Spain (fly to Malaga) Both were really high quality, inexpensive, and had British TV. I know that might sound silly, but if you mum didn't want go out every evening, it is quite relaxing to have a night in in front of the TV, and get a takeaway or shove a pizza in the oven. They also both had nice big balconies, so your mum could lounge about there in the sun.

I'm not getting on here as much as I would like at the moment, so free to PM if I can help at all. I work for an airline, so I travel quite a bit.

TOTES jealous of all the people who've been to Orlando, I've never been further than Casablanca (HORRIBLE place!!)

I go to Haven, I love them!

I loved my BB when I got it, tbh I only got it because the BB tariffs on O2 were the cheapest for what you got, counting down the months now till my contract ends and I can get a better phone, this one does my head in! Mind you I might not notice once I get the iPad I DON'T NEED!!! :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was always a Nokia fan, but they never moved with the times so I compromised and bought a basic Nokia phone and an iPod Touch (about 3 months after the iPod Touches came out). Within a month I was so impressed by the iPod Touch I just wanted to go the whole hog and get the iPhone. When I left my phone and iPod on the train at Kings X that gave me the excuse to get the iPhone.

I'll guarantee once you've had the iPad a while you'll want the iPhone.

I first read that as a naughty word :o

Awesome bet that was so much fun HC :)

Brilliant fun. I was supposed to drive one of their other ones which involved a jump and I think, squashing a car;);) but it had broke down. We got there a day early and the guy gave me a quad bike ride to make up for the difference in cost and he let sis have a quad bike ride for free. Having ridden them on the farm it was easy, through ditches etc etc. On the way back the guy stopped to open a gate to get across a bridge. I thought I would be smart and go through the river. I got half way across and the water was up my backside. Thank god I got through without damaging the quad or I'd have had to pay for the damage.:eek:
