Fudge_Cake wrote: »Thanks QOC :TI very much fancy one of the greek islands, have heard many good reports
Thank you for the tips, I'm gonna write all these down so keep em coming guys:T
Hia Fudge, I can recommend several of the Greek islands (Crete (both sides), Kalymnos, Corfu, Lesbos, Kos and Rhodes, but have never been since they joined the Euro. Do a bit of cost-checking for food, drinks, etc unless you go AI. Trip advisor can be quite useful. Some islands were expensive before they even joined the Euro. Dont want to put a dampener on this, but do a little homework first.0 -
The computer swallowed Grandma, yes honestly it’s trueShe pressed control and enter and disappeared from viewIt devoured her completely, the thought just makes me squirm. She must have caught a virus or been eaten by a wormI’ve searched through the recycle bin, and files of every kind:I’ve even used the internet, my searches to refine. The reply from him was negative, not a thing was found ‘online’,So if inside “Inbox”, my grandma you should see,Please ‘Copy’, ‘Scan’ and Paste her and send her back to me.0

If you go Greek, do your research first to make sure there arent any strikes planned while you are there!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Point duly taken! Thanks QOC!What kind of holiday are you looking for - beach, lively, quiet etc etc
Beach holiday but definitely within walking distance of a town centre and a few bits and pieces we can do to keep us entertained, health permittingNothing as lively as club 18-30!! :rotfl:Thank you for asking DODO
Thrifty_Sister wrote: »[/B]Personally speaking Fudgie I like to go May/June or September ish as its not too hot, not as highly priced as in the school holiday season and not as crowded. I also like half board as you get your main meals taken care of (breakfast/dinner) and can have lunch out or in the hotel so not being tied to full board. I think most places in Europe have good medical facilities on the whole (hopefully they won't be needed but its best to try to cover as many possibilities as possible) and its very much a question of personal taste. hth hun x
Ahhh perfect that's what I was thinking. My cousin is getting married 22nd Sept so we'd have to be back for that but I was thinking either side of the school hols. I'm always freezing so am quite happy in 30 degree weather! Was wondering whether to risk it and wait for a late booking as we've not got anything in particular in mind or to book up early.
We've only done a couple of hotel holidays before and half board worked well but I'm hypothetically debating All inclusive, just for the sheer fact that if Mum (or me!) was to ill to get up for brekkie, atleast there's plenty of options. But then the same could be said about self catering so I really don't have a clue! It all comes down to price I suppose. And thank you again :AMum had to receive medical treatment in Majorca and they were great, nothing's like home though is it?! Will just be hoping for some good luck this time and a nice healthy holiday!'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Afternoon(ish) all! Went to A's today as I got a £10 moneycard after complaining about a product (toolbox that my son fell on and was cut). I went to buy a Gro Clock - £23 online but it was £29.99 instore! I asked instore if they would sell me it at the lower price and they refused saying I have to order it online then go back to the store in 2-3 days to pick it up! They had them there on the shelf! What a carry on. I can't understand how the same company can sell the same thing at such different prices!A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0
