I think it's a little overdone on the outside so next time I will have to be more generous *cry* with the butter. :(

    Well done it looks perfect:T:T:T

Thanks QPR :AHow's your ankle and how's the planning going for the Florida trip? Is it still on the cards?

I do indeed :D Soup may very well be on the cards for later. Just had some golden syrup oats so simple, very comforting! Debating whether or not I'm well enough for a T's visit later to spend my £5 off £40, if not atleast I've still got tomorrow!

Nikki, I missed you out of my list sorry! How's your elbow after the steroid injection? I've been offered them several times before but I take steroids daily and get quite concerned with overdoing it! Hope you're much better. I see you're off for T's therapy today :jDefinitely one way to toughen up your elbows in the whoopsie scrum! ;):rotfl:

Elbow is good ta, just back from my T's road trip and did take it a bit easier than normal, I was paranoid someone was going to bump into me:(
Didnt get loads but what I got I'm happy with:)I got 10 packs of the finest stuffing,62p each but be careful if you want it, their are 2 that look nearly the same, the one you need ends 45988. Got a few packs of the pink skyline coasters 24p and got what I've been looking for for ages, the salt & pepper balls 63p:T:T:TAlso don't know if it's been mentioned but in my T's all the xmas wrapping paper in sets that were £4.99 are now down to 50p so stocked up for next Xmas. So not a bad day, especially with the salt & pepper sets as got 2 one for me and one for my mum.
Can't be bothered to take a piccie but it's these and they are magneitc so stick to the fridge.

    Evening all
Been out for most of the day. Went to a new T's in Exeter. Didn't find a thing!!
Yesterday someone mentioned that there were loads of "suits" in their stores. I noticed the same today. They seemed to be walking around the store in pairs.
I seriously think Tesco has got it's act together lately regarding mis-pricing and glitches. What there's been has been either very short lived or it's the last of the Xmas stuff.
Would some kind soul please bring me up to date if there's anything I've missed since late last night.

    Hope it's short lived!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • All this talk of holidays makes me want to fly off somewhere nice and warm to escape the grotty weather - if only lol

Anyway play nicely folks - going to get myself organised with my cooking in a bit as got people coming over to eat. Shoved chicken and veg in the slow cooker this morning with some wine - coq au vin, left over veggies blitzed and stock added for veg soup and an apple crumble for pud. Got to make the croutons and thats me sorted. Still got some wine left from the Sainsburys glitch of a while ago so shouldn't need anything else.

    See you later:D

Childbirth is easy. You have drugs on tap :D And what would madam like today? Some gas & air - makes you feel drunk but the spaced out effect is fab. How's about an epidural - you won't feel a thing but we'll probably have to put you on a drip. How's about some remifentanil - great spaced out feeling but it gave me bad shakes when I came off it and I was only using it an hour or so!

if you're lucky you can get alsorts to help....i got zilch...first DD was born back to back with no pain relief and got stuck coming out  took ten hours from waters breaking and three hours of pushing...not fun :rotfl:.....second DD was too quick, two hour labour and and no pain relief...

Czerchy...the good thing about labour is that in most cases pain relief is an option....and you know that the pain is temporay...its not going to continue for days....and in most cases you are fortunate to have something amazing as a reward for the pain :).....unlike toothache.....personally I would enduure both DDs labours again rather than have toothache :rotfl:
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Point duly taken! Thanks QOC!

Beach holiday but definitely within walking distance of a town centre and a few bits and pieces we can do to keep us entertained, health permitting :) Nothing as lively as club 18-30!! :rotfl:Thank you for asking DODO :D

look up Marmaris Imperial Hotel in Turkey (Thomson holiday)- its lush - its on a peninsular outside Marmaris all on its own in a little bay - you can sunbathe on the pier or one of two pools, take a canoe out or do aqua aerobics in the day and evenign entertainment is quiet - its marketed as a couples hotel but it actually means adults only -i went last year and lots of varied ages and not all couples!! It is really relaxing - you can get a water taxi or bus into Marmaris if you want to but if you want a relaxing chill place this is it.. I am going back for the third time this year

After 8 years of not going abroad, I've convinced my Mum to go away this year :j:D I'm so looking forward to it. We're probably going to be sticking with Europe due to the ridiculous amount we'll be charged for health insurance anywhere else. If anyone has any recommendations (or warnings!!) I'd be very greatful :Axx

Venice. You could stay in Venice Lido if you want to be on the beach. Fly to Marco Polo and a short transfer into Venice. Ryanair airport Treviso has a bus laid on for transfer to Venice - about 45 minutes. Dont stay in hotel in Venice Mestre area.

Trapani - Sicily. Ryanair Trapani flights have connecting bus. About 40 minutes airport to the city and the city is on the sea front with beaches. The building are stunning and the town very tradtional Italian. Also ,you can get a bus from the bus station in centre of Trapani to San Vito Lo Capo - 45 minutes. Its beautiful.

Portugal Albureira.. Fly to Faro. Short transfer with Resort Hoppa charge about £20 return. Hotel Sol E Mar in the old own is right on the beach at the front and old town straight out the back.

Puerto Pollensa Majorca. Palma to Puerto Pollensa transfer with Resort Hoppa about £20.Hostel (not a hostel at all its beautiful) Bahia http://www.hoposa.es/English/Hotels/Hotel-Bahia-Puerto-Pollensa Its at the start of the Pine Walk to the left and bars and restuatants directly to the right. Right behind is a stunning walk through the Boquer valley. You can visit by bus in 10 minutes Alcuida old town castle and Alcudia port and water park as well as the S`Albufera Wetlands.
