I'll have a closer look but when I googled it, it came up travel insurance for over 65
But again thank you very much for the advice and I will definitely have a gander at the others you recommended too and topcash back...woop! love that site!'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Maybe they've upped the age limits then - I too love TCB. Don't rate Quidco as I've bben ripped off twice for cashback. Won't ever use them again.:(0 -
Fudge_Cake wrote: »Oooh thanks for that. I did sign up for the £1 trial with the £15 of John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers and found the magazine very interesting
We both do unfortunatelyBoth of us have had blood clots and are on Warfarin. I also have SLE (Lupus) and Mum has something called Bechet's (both illnesses affect out immune system and cause arthritic joints) Then we've both got Osteoporosis and a few other things in the mix too.
When we went to Orlando in 2004 it cost £800 for 2 1/2 weeks health insurance and that was before my blood clotting problems were confirmed  I dread to think what it would be now:(:(:mad::mad: Some people get all the luck eh?!
I'll try and find out who dad uses. He has health probs and spends 3mths or so travelling Europe each year. I'll let you know. When was the which and voucher offer on please, I use W'rose alot for bargains.0 -
rufydoofyM wrote: »Depends on how independant you want to be but I used to go on city breaks with mum. Rome and Luzern were great but if you want the coast and some good sightseeing then Barcelona and Palma were great. Always got a good deal because I shopped about and had the advantage of working in travel. Just make sure if you book flights and accomodation and transfers separately you are covered if anyone goes bust. hth
Thanks rufydoofyM. Ideally I'll be looking at the coast because I need to know that if Mum's ill she won't feel as guilty being laid up in her room (it means I can still go down to the beach on my own, yes I'm 24 but she'd worry like crazy if I had to get on a bus or something!:o)
Been to both Barcelona and Palma, though only on fleeting visits. They are both very lovely, Barcelona in particular. I'd really like to try somewhere new but Barcelona is great because you have the best of both worlds :j
And thank you for the tip about booking everything seperately, I must say I'm going to need to do a lot of research before I book anything as I really don't have the foggiest'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

OMG Fudge - how awful. I had never heard of Bechets until last year when I met a lovely lady who has it. Really hope there are some insurance companies out there that will cover you both without an arm and a leg cost but you will probably have to put in quite a lot of effort to find them. Good luck hun xx0 -

Yeah perhaps, what a shame, thought I think I would ideally book us the same insurance provider. But a very good recommendation for others Thrifty Sister
I've never used Quidco but I agree TCB is fab :TSorry to hear about your unfair treatment with Quido :mad:rufydoofyM wrote: »I'll try and find out who dad uses. Thank you again rufydoofyM, that would be great
Aww sorry but you missed out on the Which offer. It was about 3 weeks ago now on the main grabbit board. Sign up to Which (have to be a new customer) for £1 for the 1st month and receive £15 of John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers. There was a lot of uncertainty at the beginning as to whether it would be MOC rather tha vouchers so I was unsure whether to sign up but for £1 I chanced it and my vouchers arrived with a magazine a few days ago :TVery simple to cancel too, just an automated phone service.'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0
