Just going back to the coupon thread one last time. It started to go downhill after a troll started playing about and instead of deleting there posts BT kept responding to them, then it became a bit of a free for all and everyone started feeding the troll. After that BT decided to have the chat thread and moved on topic posts to that. The good coupons finders had there posts moved or deleted, got fed up and left...since then its just got worse.
In regards to all the coloured text, Im suffer from dyslexia, yes I can read and write but looking at text in all those colours is really hard. Loads of people agreed that its difficult to read. but that all fell on deaf ears as MT does what she likes... BT and MT seem very clicky when ya read the drivel thread..
I don't disagree at all that she does a good job but its her way or stuff it attitude that pees me off. I used to look after a on-going thread back in the day (you guys would have loved those) so I know what's involved but id never speak to people the way she does sometimes..I didn't post every day on the coupon thread, I did my bit, but now I wont post, just lurk..Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -

Maybe T, A et al are not so scared of us after all.:T
I would think that the % of extreme couponers and glitchers versus the % of 'normal' shoppers is actually pretty small overall, add into that the number of other items picked up when people visit for a coupon spend or a glitch and the stores are still quids in. In addition to that, that particular store has got the shopper over the threshold, getting used to the store layout and such = increased (or potential increased) liklihood to revisit versus a competitor (or in other words, while you're in their store, you're not in competitors). I know Mr T posted a drop in profts YoY at Xmas but lets face it, they're hardly calling in the adminstrators.
HC - thanks for the tip about the gears. I suppose thinking about it I do drive in the highest gear possible in snow, but since I'm going slowly, that's usually only 2nd or 3rd at the most.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

If you can always try and pull away in a higher gear too. If your car is sitting and you have fresh snow in front of you and your on a bit of an incline you only get one bite at it. Tyres get grip in fresh fluffy snow, once you spin the wheels and pack the snow, forget it. Same for driving on the roads, don't drive on everyone else tracks, take fresh snow every time!0 -

Please post and not just lurk, perhaps we can encourage the thread to get back to how it used to be? I suppose different people communicate differently via the written word, just like face to face. I don't know if I always look for the positive in people but I try not to take offense at direct/abrupt posts as rudeness, just a short post - unless of course its obvious nastyness.
Sorry to hear your comments about posting in colours fell on deaf ears, is it just colours you find difficult of the change in text from normal to bold? I guess in even the greatest democracy, not everyone will be pleased, but it's a real shame someone who has so much experience and has contributed feels frozen out. (sorry, no pun intended given the current weather!)

I would love to have the Sky TV/Phone/Broadband offer but, being in a small village out in the sticks of the Fens, we can't get their super broadband and can only have their connect service which is dearer than our current broadband supplier BT and offers less. so we have Phone/Broadband with BT for about £10 per month and TV through Sky at £  per month - HD, Sky+, World Package as all we really watch is sport, news and discovery type programmes like Cash Cowboys, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Storage Wars, Ice Truckers, etcMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
