Yeah let the clutch do the work, 2nd or 3rd gear harldy use any trottle. If you cant pull away in standing snow, lift the clutch up and down to rock the car and it'll make its own way out.
Im originaly from up north, now down here, Harrow/Watford way and i guarentee all i'll hear tomorrow morning are wheels spinning..:rotfl:

Sadly this is not me.
There's even a special mention of wombling...
I love my bargaining, but this woman bores the hell out of me. Can we have a pact please not to mention this irritating person on here again! :mad:0 -
Please post and not just lurk, perhaps we can encourage the thread to get back to how it used to be? I suppose different people communicate differently via the written word, just like face to face. I don't know if I always look for the positive in people but I try not to take offense at direct/abrupt posts as rudeness, just a short post - unless of course its obvious nastyness.
Sorry to hear your comments about posting in colours fell on deaf ears, is it just colours you find difficult of the change in text from normal to bold? I guess in even the greatest democracy, not everyone will be pleased, but it's a real shame someone who has so much experience and has contributed feels frozen out. (sorry, no pun intended given the current weather!)
Was gonna zzz but best reply... lol... normal to bold is ok, but the first page, although its ok there's a few different fonts which id do differently, but as I say its more colours for me... Only way I can describe it, is its like when you catch the sun in your eyes, look away and you see sun spots.. lots of text in pink (in this example but any bright colour in quantity) against normal black text has that effect. I can see the black text fine but the pink comes and goes...think that makes sense, hope so...lol
really must go now...nighty night all

Our gay friends have been a couple for 12 years which is a long time in the gay world, and are 48 and 50
History Channel kerri - as are most of the others I mentioned
I remember when my niece moved down to live with us when she left school as there was no work for her up North and she got a job down here no problem, she was 16 and thought 30 was ancient ........... she turned 41 two weeks ago, is married with 2 kids ........... she doesn't think it's old anymore
12 years is a very very long time in the gay world. 12 hours is about the norm!:rotfl::rotfl: If you hit 12 days they class it as being in a long term relationship. 12 weeks is rarely heard of.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

HappyChappy84 wrote: »Yep, 3G works just like internet on mobile phones do. Apple and the networks will tell you that you have to sign up to a dedicated iPad data plan but when I had my 3G iPad 2 I popped my iPhone 4 SIM in to the iPad and entered the same data username and password in the iPad settings and it worked. I returned the iPad and got a less expensive WiFi only model as I couldn't justify the extra £100 for the 3G that I would rarely use. I never got a chance to fully test the 3G so I don't know if the networks would have any way of telling what I'd done and end up with them restricting my account, or worse, getting a huge bill for the excessive data use.
I've no idea about downloading your kindle books but there is a Kindle app for iPad. You would have to sign in and see if Amazon will let you re-download your books to another device for free.
I basically want to upgrade to something better for surfing on the go than my rubbish and slow BB Pearl, even when it's fast it's still a compacted version of a web page so useless for any real information, and you can forget forums!
Re excessive date use, I get 2GB free on my sky account, have just logged in for the first time in a year to find I routinely use about 15GB a month and never get penalised!
Looking into data plans for the iPad, £10 a month doesn't sound too bad on O2 but a bit miffed it's only for 30 days, why can't you use it until it's used up, however long that takes? :mad:I would love to have the Sky TV/Phone/Broadband offer but, being in a small village out in the sticks of the Fens, we can't get their super broadband and can only have their connect service which is dearer than our current broadband supplier BT and offers less. so we have Phone/Broadband with BT for about £10 per month and TV through Sky at £  per month - HD, Sky+, World Package as all we really watch is sport, news and discovery type programmes like Cash Cowboys, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Storage Wars, Ice Truckers, etc
Have you checked this recently, and via their helpline NOT online. I say this because it tells me I can't have Broadband or Talk on my number at all, and I've had both for years!!!Kadison, as far as I'm aware, any device you have linked to your kindle account can share the books you download. At the minute I have my kindle, my mothers kindle , my iphone and DDs ipod touch all registered on mine and we all share the same titles (that I pay for:mad:) so Im pretty sure it would be the same for an ipad
Thanks Sharon, that sounds encouragingNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
