    Their once was a lady who lived at Tescos
    She only went home to get her clean clothes
    She scoured the aisles for 1p items and bargains
    She checked every clipstrip, looked behind all the tins
    She spoke of a time known as old DTD
    When if you were clever, everything was free
    Oh, those were the days she would say and sigh
    When if offered BOGOF you would have to lie!
    So come on T's give her a glitch
    Even something small, just to soothe that itch;)

    LOVE IT! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    WELL DONE!!! :beer::beer::beer:
    Someone by me has just offered a brown leather a 3 piece suite on freecycle, phoned him up and I can have it tomorrow. It's only 6 months old but his wife has decided to redecorate and she's bought a black one so getting rid of the other one. Some people have more money than sense.

    OMG that's mad, great for you but insane of them! Imagine not putting it on ebay at least?! :eek:

    Nipped into Mr Ts for bread and milk tonight with DD. As we were leaving I said the magic words "remember you're a womble". It was like a transformation! After finding one for £136.89 (no cc used :T) she then insisted I drive her around all the shelters and she checked every one! Didn't find any more but fingers crossed for a good price check tomorrow :D

    I think I've created a teenage monster!:eek:
    Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

    Yes, I used self raising flour. I bought it today with the caster sugar and the butter when I was in Tesco having a vision of me being a cake baker. There's more to this baking than meets the eye!

    Fail safe for me is weigh 4 eggs, whatever that comes to add the same weight of SR flour, margarine and granulated sugar and some vanilla essence. I bake cakes at 180 in a fan assisted oven but at 190-200 in a non-fan assisted one. Leave to cook for at least 15 minutes before opening the oven door to check otherwise the cake will sink, hth.

    .....and what colour scheme doesn't go with a brown sofa anyway? Unless they're painting the whole room grey *shudder*
