Sainsbobs are price checking against Asda which is enough for me to swap from Ts. If they don't get their act together, there is no need for me to got there... OK I am just one customer, how many more people can say the same? Let's wait and find out shall we...
Oh I should mention that I have a couple of T's expresses close by and a couple of co-ops. How much loyalty do you think there is to Ts if there are no offers/bargains to be found?
Sorry:o I think my post may have been misunderstood. What I meant was that shares in basic commodities and everyday needs like food, pharmaceuticals, drink, tobacco are the most resilient in a downturn. They won't make you a fortune overnight but are reliable(in stock market terms:rotfl:) Wasn't saying that Tesco are different but rather that if people have money to spend they will continue to do so on food etc and cut back on the luxuries:)Awaiting a new sig0 -

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!:T:T:T:T:T
YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! (am presuming you are a man?!)
i'm well impressed
i ahve noticed lots of boxes in my local on the top shelf saying discontinued, wrapped around with clingfilm, no way i would dare, too many eyes on my lovely behind.....:(:(:(
Go for it but ask an employee to get it for you.
I found the WTP with Cuddles teddy that way. Someone had posted the WTP with Honey teddy was cheap. I saw 4 wtp teddys wrapped in clingfirm & thought :j woohoo :j thats the one. Asked the self stacker if they got any on a shelf as they look really nice. She couldnt find any so got them for me and said she'll go to cs to get a price for me too.
I said "thanks".
She came back, handed one to me and said they must be old stock as they are 56p. I asked if i can get 2 as they good for birthday gifts (really wanted them all, but best not to get greedy). She gave 2 and put the other 2 behind cs desk.0 -

never mind,maybe somthings around the corner!0 -
You could always go and ask CS to print another receipt off? I did this the other day and she said they can do it within 3 weeks, as long as she had my clubcard and I got sort of an a4 print out of it. Don't let them get to you!
thank you i will go in and ask . ive not used my club card in weeks as was suprised at the info they hold when i logged onto cluscard website and that made me even more paranoid lol

Oh hun, I agree with you, I don't think you will get quick returns from Ts, but don't think they will go under any time soon either. I just think they need to come off their high horses (which they have been riding for the last few years) and realise they need to compete to survive.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -
