Well done, but don't let it lie. The trouble is the staff doing the reducing feel intimidated by these people and will only say anything to their managers when coerced into it.

I've had similar problems in my store and have complained enough that its all very civilised these days and one family have been banned. Its taken a while though.

I did the same in my local park when I saw a young(ish) boy find an iphone. I knew he would keep it but as they are expensive to buy in the first place, let along insure, I really couldn't bear the owner not getting it back. I phoned the mum number on it, game them my full details and was able to reunite it with rightful owner. OH kept telling me to keep it but I kept thinking, how would i feel if it was my phone, I would have hoped the finder would try to find who it belonged to before keeping it. The owner posted a nice little monetary reward a couple of weeks after getting it back, they were only in their early 20s so I was really impressed. This said, do what feels right for you, I never judge as everyone is different and needs must IFKWIM

I saw some more princess bags and then a lady with a really sweet little girl,so I told her about them she looked at me said 'oh',walked over to them took one off put it her trolley and walked off!!!........oh well least the sweet little girl got one

wasn't put off though another lady came past with another sweet little girl little girl saying mummy can I have one of those please (about a toy) and mum 'not today' (sounds familiar! lol ) so I told her and she was 'gobsmacked' and like what 1p and hugley grateful and one happy little girl clutching her 'goody'

oh I found some rc cars but they scanned correctly!
