It's not that nice TBH!!! Quite small...you'd have to save 20p's!!
There's no scanner in that store and I had to take it to the CS for a price check.
When the CA brought the prices up i saw her turn to her colleague and murmer something...."Aye aye" I thought, she's going to try and nab this for herself so I piped up " I can tell from your face that it is the price i thought it was....Lovely!!"
The 2nd CA asked if there were anymore because apparently a pregnant lady had cleared the whole store of all this type of thing a week or so ago.....
Now, I know of the three regulars who visit the Plymouth stores and none of us are preggers as far as I know.....so I think we've been lurkered there girls!!
The 2nd SA took half of the keyrings (we had 4 each) but gave me the thumbs up....so I've got a mate there if I want to check prices again!!
i'm not pregnant, but some might assume i am :rotfl: but it wasn't me.
Are there any of those money boxes or key rings left?
And what are those Disney stockings you got for 1p?
Stupid lurkers. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Was it you that had some clearance mugs there? the royal wedding ones for 1p??
I saw them today in the mug isle and picked one up and took it to scan and they are £2.50 :eek:
lol Lots of gaps today in the toys as they were moving them all about and putting new stock out.
Young boy on CS desk said they have taken down the blue board with dtd on and it is being phased out?!!?:eek:
No probs today getting my dtd today but he had to call someone to authorise and 2 men managers came down, I think someone else had got the Creme eggs on dtd before me as they were saying I thought we took them all down after that ... earlier :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The young man said ohh i cant wait to go home today, been one of those days I asked had he done lots of overcharges today and he said not all day but had quite a few in the last half an hour! lolHello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -

Night jj, looking forward to your next lot of cooking pics. I wish I could have your flare for cooking, everything always looks scrumptious.0 -
L££ Mill has one in the crisps aisle but it's been out of action for months now.
I've never found one in Rob0r0ugh either....so am assuming there isn't one there? Mind you, I'm going to avoid there for a bit after todays trouting!
My usual store is N£wton Abb0t but there is only a very small non food section there.
EdinDevon...what's Exeter like? :rotfl:
There is a Metro in Torquay and a smaller one in Paignton. I never bother with these...but maybe I should??
I've only used the express for the smarties/aero glitch a while back too.
Do others find the really small stores any good?
I *think* there is a scanner in the cakes aisle in the Rob*rough one.

No wonder Ts are down on their takings, the more they bin the more they will loose. Surely it has got to make more sense to put things like this on clearance shelves. OK so they may not want to sell them for 1p but a few pence more and I would still buy. I have recently bought loadsa Littlest Pet Shop toys from my local small Sainsbobs for 20(ish)p and been happy to pay the price. Why on earth don't Ts do the same with their non perishables????? Maybe the company is just like Microsoft and is run by people with no experience outside the company, brainwashed into thinking the way the company wants, just to be able to spout a load of standard garb. to the sharholders. Top management get your buts onto the shop floor, you have lost touch with your customers and have really lost the plot.
Sorry to rant, but I studied business and finance, worked in marketing for 14 years, 9 of which was in senior level and I fail to understand the logic in the decisions being made by Ts at the moment. OK rant over.
As I've reported before, I like to listen in on the morning "rumbles" to pick up any tit-bits of info. Heard the other day that new targets have been set to reduce wastage. So perhaps things may be slowly changing.
As a shareholder(very minor of course:rotfl:) I'm not too bothered as long as they continue to pay an excellent dividend. Warren Buffet (google him if you don't know) clearly thinks Tesco are a good bet as he has taken advantage of the recent share price drop to increase his holding from ~3% to ~5% making him one of the major shareholders. If it's good enough for Warren Buffet it's good enough for me:)Awaiting a new sig0 -
Evening everyone
hope you are all well just going back a few pages to this morning to catch up0 -

Yes often find ood sels in expresses
also because of the faster turnover the whoopsies can be good.
