    Just shoved an Asda receipt into APG -

    Sorry Sainsbury's are cheapest this time. Your comparable grocery shopping is £1.55 cheaper at Sainsbury's. ASDA are not 10% cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose. As such you are entitled to a voucher for £3.33.

    :j:j:j:j:j:j

    Always worth a wobble through an Asda car park :D

    ETA not wobble, womble. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

  • don't think too much to Asda value clothing lol

    Just popped to T's with my Rustlers vouchers. Picked the new girl on the checkouts as I've used her till a few times. Only downside is she wants to make conversation. After todays conversation I'm beginning to think she fancies me.:eek::eek:
    can you not drop a hint like "my boyfriend is doing the shopping tomorrow"?

    Not a bad scrimping session of baking!!!

    Slow cooked monster sized chilli yesterday made with 1.5k meat 80p, 4 tins toms £1, 2 tins kidney beans 34p, value granules, value cocoa (honestly!), Asian shop spices, garlic & half a net of onions 19.5p. Total cost around £2.50.

    This fed a family at dinner time (not on photo). Also made a batch of rice (half a bag of glitched basmati 30p).

    Leftover rice has made a HUGE apricot rice pudding too!

    Also made 2 leftover pies. The leftover pastry made an apple pie with a few cheap dessert apples.

    Leftover rice and chilli also portioned out for future meals in the freezer.

    Total cost around £4 for all the above.

    The pies in the picture are not cooked. They are all being batch baked now as I type. :)
    The rice pudding is now finishing off in the thermal cooker. Just pulled it out for the piccie ;)
