Maybe she is just being friendly or lonely like you say she is the new girl and I don't suppose many of the customers chat to her.
True, our first conversation was about the colour of the secure entry fob on my keyring. She was complaining that hers was orange and that she wanted a blue one (mines blue).:rotfl:0 -

Please don't get me wrong i would never hurt a cat etc but I'm a dog owner and if my dog left its dirt on someones lawn I'm sure they would say something. Is there any deterrents proven that work. this has really cheesed me off . rant over
The best deterrents are a water pistol or the best is literally just go out clap your hands really loudly, shout go away etc, after a few times just the sound of the back door will be enough.
The cat likes the soft earth easy to dig.
Last summer the foxes used my potatoes grown in containers as a toilet it was disgusting, now if anyone knows how to deter foxes I'm all ears if I try & shoo them away they just look at me, one even followed me to the back door.0 -

I use to have problems the same as you with all the local cats using my garden as a loo. After a bit of advice i went and bought a "curry" plant" just the one at first to see if it worked and lo and behold no cats No 2's all over my garden where i put the plants, even my dog now avoids parts of the garden where the curry plants are, i also put one on my patio where my little man always use to mark his spot and he now no longer goes there - so could thoroughly recommend them.
