Ahhh Woolacombe, I went near there for a holiday back in 2005, stayed here

    http://www.warcombefarm.co.uk/

Was one of the nicest campsites ever (shame we had a rubbish tent though :(), I always judged campsites by their loo/shower blocks and this one had motion-sensor lighting and UNDERFLOOR HEATING!!!!! :D:D:D

The ducks from the pond regularly came to eat breakfast with us.....

(BTW the bloke in the photo is not me for all you who still think I'm a man lol!)

Took this picture while we were out and about on the way to the beach one evening.....

Hey kadison, I can't remember if I said thank you to you for your well wishes regarding my Grandfather! I did read your post, so thank you :D and appologies for the delay!

Brill piccies! I love Woolacombe too. Sounds like a great campsite, I judge a site by it's toilet and shower blocks too:) Very very important!! Been to a couple with underfloor heating, it's pure luxury, especially if you've decided to brave it in the winter. I went to a site at Lee Valley in London and their shower block was amazing but there was talks about closing the site down :( Was so convenient for London too!

Ladies if in doubt please leave it out. My DD a couple of years ago came down the stairs with raven black hair (she's normally a dirty blonde) in floods of tears. She'd lightened her hair, then used Pantene shampoo/ conditioner and it had reacted. I had to find a real colour expert in Leeds, who took two sessions totalling 10 hours plus several hundred quid to put it right!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Oh mannnnn takes me right back to pre-lightening my hair! I have natural pretty light blonde hair but I wanted to go darker so I chose a honey blonde 24 wash colour....6 months later and it was still in there, particularly ugly colour too :( And it was just coming up to the leavers do at school and our Year 11 photo's so I had to do something. Pre-lightener I have since found to be a great product but this first time, it was not what I was expecting. My hair looked see-through!! I can't really explain it better than that, it was the most disgusting bleached out see through hair! Luckily it was remedied with a nice n easy dye but I was in floods of tears! Your poor daughter lutzi1, what a nightmare!!!!

Thanks Sheffmum, you are my new bestest buddy. I got two of these earlier today after a lot of faffing and some severe trouting. I wanted to thank you but couldn't find your post in the minefield that is the mse grabbit forum.

My little boy will absolutely love this when I give it to him on his fourth birthday in a couple of months. Thanks again..

  • Never been in the Samuel Johnston's before, got the impression it was a bit of a drinkin' mans pub, just like the Mark Lemon (Broadfield) and the Dorsten (Bewbush).
I never went in SJ regularly, I drank at the Railway in town, played for the darts team there.
