  • Yep, Crawley are doing it again this year in the FA cup, nice away victory over Hull yesterday.

Langley Green eh, that's where Chico used to live. I believe he was in Langley Drive, were you neighbours I wonder??

If he stayed at the end near the Dr Johnston's then maybe!:)

Someone asked about T's doing a pending payment with a new card, yes they do, and it's annoying! I had £5 on the orange prepayment card ordered something that was 4.99 but they reserved £1 meaning I did not have enough, I complained and was told it was in T&C's but I genuinely could not find it, it took a week to come back onto the card and by that time item was out of stock.

Ahh that was me, cheers for the info, I thought as much just wanted to be sure.
It's only £2 but every little helps:)

Yes I LOVE that shop, it's so quaint and old fashioned, perfect :D Always used to get our sausage and chips and sit on the harbour wall to eat them...surrounded by seagulls!! :p

I know, the sandman is awesome!!! :D Was so glad that his son took over :) Yep I always had a donkey ride on the beach too and used to beg my Mum to let me go on the trampolines! I always thought it was the 'cool' kids on the trampolines :rotfl:

Awww we always parked by the lake with the swans and peddle boats :D Lovely little walk into town. When I used to go under the underpass painted with boats, I felt like I was really on holiday! :D

The trampolines:T:T:TForgot to mention the best bit of my holidays. My nana & grandad had a guest house in Holland Road and my grandad was a fisherman. He used to go out on his boat and come back with lobsters and let them crawl across the kitchen floor:eek::eek::eek: And my nan used to make the best fish & chips ever with his fish:)Right off to watch TOWIE,
    Night night everyone,
    Night night Happy my little:A

Finally caught up, another 2 days worth, pc back on blink again, somehow I managed to mess up the transfer that OH started to make the pc better!

Anyway forgetting my manners, evening all. Massive hugs to those in need, I would name names but I wouldn't want to offend anyone by missing anyone out as I have read a lot of pages :o

I saw something online the other day but can not remember where it was may have even been on here but for the teachers on here, you can get a free potato growing kit for your school. I think the website is http://www.gyop.potato.org.uk/

OMG I'm going to have to stop otherwise I'll take over the whole thread with my memories. The cat & mouse at the permanent funfair, I had a holiday romance with the boy that worked on it when I was sweet sixteen:o:oAnd Pam Eyres at the pavilion! and yes I went to Jersey on the boat, that was like a major adventure!!And spending the day sunbathing at the Nothe Gardens because it was quieter than the beach(And because my nan & grandad owned a little fishermans cottage at the Nothe that they let out to the grockels and we used to have a week every August) and my dad giving me 10p for jumping off the cliffs into the sea at Portland:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:And being amazed by the trains that came along the harbour. Memories;)

    ;) Grockels :rotfl:

My Grandfather & uncle used to drive those trains :D

I think from memory he was nearer the other end of Langley Drive, near the hotel and the big roundabout.

Never been in the Samuel Johnston's before, got the impression it was a bit of a drinkin' mans pub, just like the Mark Lemon (Broadfield) and the Dorsten (Bewbush).
