I used poster paints to paint the pictures onto my DS's mural walls, when they were younger. Also stencilpaints, acrylics and tester pots.

Really enjoyed making their bedrooms fun rooms.Over the years they had, teddy bears, farmyard, jungle, space, seaside. Great fun!

    Enjoy being creative dcon_blue!

So true my back wall is(was) white washed, the kids have drawn spongebob squarepants characters all over it with the left overs i bring back from jobs :)
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

purchased the lazer stunt chaser this morning. SEL said £19.50 and went throught the till at £39.97 as reported. However when I took it to the customer service desk she wouldnt give me DTD only JTD. she said the barcodes were slightly different. I argued that it is not the customers job to check the barcodes and that was the only SEL there. She stuck to her guns so I took the JTD and left.

Phoned CS and luckily got a fantastic guy. He looked at the stores computetr systems and said it was completely their fault. He apologised to me and sent me out the extra difference and £5 for the inconvience too. :T He said that all stores are working to a tight budget and they get into trouble when they go over it. So sometimes they refuse to give DTD - which we all know.

    So just a warning really

Oh and found a whole clip strip of christmas cds. Not really worth a penny to me tho
    Happy days

Was thinking of painting a 'muriel' ;) on the kids bedroom walls (e.g. a tree, some flowers and the animals and insects they know and then add to the scene as they learn new words). At the moment it's basic magnolia and we have some paint left over ... can you just add 'stuff' to colour it? E.g. coffee to make brown for the tree trunk? Or would poster paint do? Was thinking I'd have to get sample pots but they don't always have exciting colours.[/QU

I tried this once in my bathroom, i thought if i added cochineal food colouring to the paint i would have the shade of pink i wanted - WRONG!!! every time it got steamed up in the bathroom, i would have streaks of cochineal coming out through the paint!! so may be worth in investing in some proper paint colour additives xxx

I just give them to DD1 as she loves Lindt chocolate - paid a fortune for it for her Christmas stocking as I missed the pre-Christmas glitch!

Plus it would be rude not to take advantage of a Mr t's bargain! ;)

A bit of a milestone for me today, I gor back in the pool after 4 months of not swimming. :D
Managed 1km in 33 mins, so I was pleased with that

Plus before I went out I cooked chicken breasts, and boiled pasta, so I had a SW cold lunch ready for now. Just got to add some home made coleslaw and make some fat free dressing up.

I even ate a bit of the pasta for breakfast!

well done on the dip in the pool debsjc .
