DD1 is going through her first proper trauma in life she is only 15 and her friend was hit by a train last night, both legs have had to be cut off aswell as an arm and is also now blind and on life support with brain damage and DD1 is still in shock as are all her friends :(

    Sorry to hear that.

One of my school friends Eddie was killed by a train, playing around with the doors while the train was moving, he fell out and was dragged under.

At the time was only 11 and well traumatized, was on the train with him and a few others friends. All of us had counselling after.

    Dad's been xrayed & nothing broken :D
They have filled him with pain killers & sending him home ????
Surely this just masks the problem? Why can't he sit up?
Mum & her Nurse friend are going to hospital after 2pm & will discuss this with them. Hoping he could be moved to local cottage hospital until at least he can walk again :)
I'm working monday/tuesday & after I'm free till week thursday so I'll get down to Surrey :)

I love the Sunday trading hours back home...sitting at the minute trying to find the motivation to get showered and dressed to get out to b&q before lunch to buy paint for dd's bedroom... :(

Will have to have a look for those rc trucks while I'm out, mr T's is beside b&q and I need crusty bread to go with my cottage pie for dinner...no point leaving it until whoopsie time, the best you get around here is mushrooms reduced to 1.05 from 1.15 :eek:

Hoping to get dd's room finished today...just hope she decides to sleep in the mid-sleeper we bought & painted for her otherwise we will have to build the super king bed for her

B&Q emulsion is £22 for 5 litres, wickes is £25 for 10 litres.

a strange bag of trivia today . good luck to all .

I think my sleep deprived brain needs a work out :rotfl: need to brush up on European trivia
only got 4 right but at the bottom due to BIL collecting DS for an afternoon with his boys in the middle of it.
DS enjoys spending time with his auntie and her step sons, just wish their mum wasn't so funny about it.
She informed BIL that she didn't want the boys calling my son their cousin because he wasn't really, the boys have decided that to get round it he was their step cousin and told their mum that it was true because they'd asked their teacher what he'd be to them and she told them, needless to say the teacher will be in for a shock on Monday morning when their mum goes to talk to her  She's not a very nice lady, it's the older boys birthday tomorrow so their Dad is having a wee party for him. She's not happy because he's having a few friends from school round but she wouldn't throw him a party, she told the boy she couldn't be bothered, he was so disappointed :(
So DS is off with two of the 'free' stunt cars as their gift, just hope there's no arguments over them.
The other boy's birthday is next week and he's got different colour car, their mum is throwing a party for him  don't think it's fair though. She makes me so  by making such a difference between them, they are just a year apart age wise so shouldn't be any differences in my opinion. Even if she couldn't afford 2 parties she should have a joint one at least.

    Morning all:D

Good to see you back HC :T

I can confirm that the gold Lindor Assorted Chocolate Truffles 100g packs BCE 0201 are going through at 1p, as are the red Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles BCE 8043. They are the same ones that glitched at 1p before. Hint: look out for the 'snowball' shaped chocs rather than the newer 'Easter Egg' shapes.

    HTH

Glad you found them, and not me. I don't think I am strong enough to buy those, and not eat them!!

A big thank you to the OP for the red Lindt Balls - got them for 1p @ an Express. They didn't have them at my extra, only the egg shaped ones.

Also, if anyone has a MOC for Aunt Bessies, I bought a custard sachet - it was 13p and had the MOC for 50p so a little off my shopping. That was at an Extra. There was no SEL but thought it would be 53p as thought I had seen that on here a while back.

Thanks you all for your contributions and ideas :-)

I just give them to DD1 as she loves Lindt chocolate - paid a fortune for it for her Christmas stocking as I missed the pre-Christmas glitch!
