Watch out for the lindt packets!

The Balls and egg packets look exactly the same, and are very often placed side by side on clip trips.

Some bar codes have been covered with a stickered barcodes, some have not, somebody somewhere at the lindt barcode factory has got into a right royal muddle!

Just as a long shot I scanned a pack of the balls, thinking christmas balls rather than easter eggs, might be reduced, not so, balls were £2 a pack!

Very strange... Mine scanned at 1p?!!! Mine was in a normal 'Superstore' - what sort of store did you try?

Was it an out of date yellow SEL?

I don't know if it was. DS had spotted them and thought they'd make good gifts for 4 male cousins birthdays coming up in the next few weeks and as I'd just got paid thought they'd be good. I didn't even check because I'd bought DS one the week before and just assumed that they must still be on offer.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help maybe the other poster would be able to tell you more

Not been on much because reflux and tummy pain back so not sleeping well at night even though I sleep with the top half of me raised a bit to help ease it.
I've lost count of the number of times I've sat to respond to something and woke up an hour later

I'm hoping for a nice glitch to wake me up and get me going, DTDs are keeping me going but feel I've been spotted in one of my locals due to the lazer stunt cars that I didn't even know had OOD SEL. Darn me for being paid and wanting to get gifts out of the way, I blame the bank for allowing my money to go in on Friday:rotfl:
I'll have to avoid getting unintentional DTDs in that store for a while, I think I'll have to recruit a few of the mums I know locally to get my fix though :D

Well everyone have a good day, I for one am waiting until 1pm when our stores open. In one way I hate our Sunday trading laws and in others I love them

I love the Sunday trading hours back home...sitting at the minute trying to find the motivation to get showered and dressed to get out to b&q before lunch to buy paint for dd's bedroom... :(

Will have to have a look for those rc trucks while I'm out, mr T's is beside b&q and I need crusty bread to go with my cottage pie for dinner...no point leaving it until whoopsie time, the best you get around here is mushrooms reduced to 1.05 from 1.15 :eek:

Hoping to get dd's room finished today...just hope she decides to sleep in the mid-sleeper we bought & painted for her otherwise we will have to build the super king bed for her

  • Went to T's last night & only found the choc waffles - thanks op, stocked up for the kids :)

Scanned loads of toys and random clip strip bits, but no other bargains to report.

We did see cages of toys coming out though which was all the summer toys, super soakers and garden bits so if they're bringing in the summer lines, we'll have to keep a look out on the older stuff.

Score it, spray it with a soapy fluid and then leave it to soak...steamers will blow your plaster...imo

i know there is someone on here who decorates for a living...quick question...why does my paint look like it has curdled?
Brought 2 pots in from the garage to paint dds bedroom and the big pot of b&q trade emulsion is a solid lump with a few inches of clear gloop on top. the 5l tin of mixed emulsion - dulux mixed from b&q looked similar to the white but i managed to stir it slightly to create a curdled looking mixture. is it ruined by the cold?

Chances are your plaster was already blown before the steamer, most solid plaster can with stand steamer ( if you don't hold it on one spot for to long )

When paint is stored below 0 the water will freeze leave the oil ( gunky yellow stuff) on top.

When the paint defrosts the chemical reaction between oil and water causes the curdle. If you have a paint paddle.drill and bucket you can try stir it out, usually waste of time.

Have found them on the shelf in b&q, if there are any bubble visable to you dont buy the paint.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    Morning all:D

Good to see you back HC :T

I can confirm that the gold Lindor Assorted Chocolate Truffles 100g packs BCE 0201 are going through at 1p, as are the red Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles BCE 8043. They are the same ones that glitched at 1p before. Hint: look out for the 'snowball' shaped chocs rather than the newer 'Easter Egg' shapes.

    HTH

:T Yay, thanks for confirming these.
I'm so happy to finally be able to contribute a 1p item :j
