Do Tesco's Direct take a 'test' payment if you use a new debit card?

I ask this because I ordered the computer trolley yesterday but there are 2 transactions showing on my paypal account, one for £3.75 and another for £2.
If I log into the paypal access card site though the £2 is shown as 'pending'

Any ideas ?

Found a littel battle strikers set and it scanned at 40p BC ends 9449 - Its not very big, but good to put away for a pass the parcel or something - hth

If you have registered this as a new card/bank account with paypal then paypal debit 2 amounts as part of the confirmation process.....you are then asked to confirm these 2 amounts when you complete the process...maybe its that rather than tesco?

I could be completely wrong though- nothing new there!
