Our local chippy does normal chips and battered chips, the battered chips are yummy, its not a batter like you have on fish, more of a batter wash just makes the chips ultra crispy, the woman in there fancies my bloke (asked him out infront of me:eek:) so now I make him go in alone as she gives him so many chips that she can't get one sheet of paper all the way round :D we throw away far more than we eat - she always puts her number on the paper too "incase there is anything wrong with the chips" :rotfl:
The brazen hussy:eek: As long as he doesn't ask to have his sausage battered:rotfl:

    Good morning everyone
Thanks to Londonice on the main grabbit board for this

Waitrose FREE 2 pint semi skimmed milk! No purchase needed
In this weekend's free Waitrose Weekend guide available in store.
    Voucher on page 9.
    Valid until 2nd February.

Essential Waitrose 1% fat milk 2 pints
one per customer and per transaction.

Morning all - leisurely start to the day for us here as football cancelled. Sad? Not, as was 8.30 start and had a lie in instead.

Huge thank you AMMat158 for this - we get through approx 30 pints of milk a week, usually more, so this is brilliant. Four of us went in this morning and got one each, so 8 pints free milk - there was a big sign on the milk "trolley" telling customers free with coupon in their mag. Checked with CS and they were more than happy for the littlies to each be "customers". Picked up some more mags and hope to get a few pints later in the week. Brilliant offer.

is this the story everyone gets in their letter back from head office?

I rang HO about 1p items to clarify the policy and the unhelpful trout on the phone said it was upto managers discretion and they could refuse sale. I feel a general email to HO coming on, anyone already done this? I think with your situation were the Lindt thingies glitching a 1p or wasn't old Xmas stok? If they are glitching I guess they could refuse sale? My local extra now check my shopping for 1p items!!!! after they refused to sell me a few Harry hills nuts

    Oops sorry Morning all!
Parked my car in my town centre T's carpàrk on my way into town
Couldn't resist having a nosey down the offers aisle before I left
3 managers having a meeting in the middle of the store
As I walked past heard one of them say " so and so"
They all suddenly turn around and start following me:eek::eek::eek:
I felt soooo embarrassed and intimidated I had a quick look at the clearance shelf (with them all staring at me) then I quickly left the store
Be of them followed me down the aisle and stood and watched me out (I had a quick look as I left)

Am I paranoid? Is this allowed????? They have followed me in there before but I have not shopped in this store for over 6 weeks (last time was the OEP fiasco):mad::mad::mad:
