My contribution to a "How to ... guide for beginers" ... although I don't know if this will be frowned upon :o Here goes ...

I want to use a conditional MOC but don't want to spend as much as £40 in the first place ... so I have some non perishible items that I've bought in the past week or so which I haven't opened (and I still have receipts for) so am thinking of returning these and buying again with the conditional shop.

I've also made a "shopping list" of items that I have MOCs for (and that I actually want) and their current price.

What I should really be doing as well (but haven't) is making a note of everything that gives JTD on a Price Check.

I assume these are the ones that were scanning at £1 (SEL£12) just before Christmas. Barcode was 1997 if that helps. Got a couple, but left about 10 on the shelf for other locals(PMd) but lurkers got there first. They have never been restocked in my extra.

Oh I'd love to come across these as I got 2 lots of the placemats and coasters for 1p each :T ... but I've never seen the table cloths or anything in this ran.ge for that matter

Our local chippy does normal chips and battered chips, the battered chips are yummy, its not a batter like you have on fish, more of a batter wash just makes the chips ultra crispy, the woman in there fancies my bloke (asked him out infront of me:eek:) so now I make him go in alone as she gives him so many chips that she can't get one sheet of paper all the way round :D we throw away far more than we eat - she always puts her number on the paper too "incase there is anything wrong with the chips" :rotfl:

    I FOUND MY PHONE
. i kept going back to the cushion on my chair all yesterday and this morning. so i thought i would look a little harder there.and under the cushion was a small hole, and the phone had fallen down the hole and was resting on the material on the bottom of the chair. no wonder it took so long to find it. it had found a damn good hidding place. bad news is that i had missed a hospital appointment on friday . i will call them monday and try and get another one.

    Don't sling em!
Pop em in the fridge and have em the next day warmed up on a tray in the oven. Taste just as good. Fry up an egg and butter a couple of rounds of bread and you're good to go :T

Ps, glad you don't feel threatened by her.
She may fry chips but I bet she can't bake like you can ;)

don't blame you one bit Mad , can't sell you batter bits or as we called them when i was young ' scrumps ' . I wouldn't buy chips in a chippy that didn't offer B Bits up .
