  • Hi Everyone

Fudge, not sure how you're managing to cope with everything, I bet your mum is so glad that she has you to support her now. You both sound like very special people - keep strong for each other

Bensonsmum - hugs to you and your family, its times like this when you realise what is important in life

Spiraling - hope you had some luck contacting H/O, I spoke to a very nice lady called Jane today who confirmed that I should get back the cost of the item I bought yesterday despite the trout telling me I wouln't. She is sending me a letter to confirm it so I can take it with me to show CS. If you get someone on the phone who is not v helpful, ring back again and speak to someone else.

Sorry if I have missed anyone - hope you are all having a good day. Make the most of the sunshine today as tomorrow's weather does not look good. Shame I am stuck at home :(

Thanks for asking - no change as such, more tests carried out yesterday and going to have more biopsies done on tuesday, god only knows where they are going to take these from?? The hospital has been shut to visitors since wednesday as there is an outbreak of the "norovirus" (sp??) going around, which makes it really hard for him as my OH and him are just so close, so they have been speaking on the phone quite a bit. He is seeing the radiologist on wednesday so heres hoping he can do something for him, fingers crossed.

I had a message from him on my answerphone yesterday saying could i go in and pick him up as they were letting him go home, so i rang the hospital and sadly it was wishful thinking on his part - for some reason he thought i would be able to sneak him out while they were doing their handover, when i told my OH he was heartbroken as just wants the best for his dad, but to bring him home at the moment wouldn't be doing him any favours.

Will keep you all informed when i know anymore. Thanks again for all the huggs and good wishes xxx

Got trouted at the fish & chip shop last night.

(Went in for a bag of chips to go with my whoopsied pasties from T's).

Asked for some batter pieces :j

SA "Oh, no we're not allowed to sell them to you"

MAD "What?":( Just give them to me then!:D

    SA "It's against the law"

MAD "Cancel my order then, I'm going to a proper chippy"

We used to call em Fish Bits when I was a lad (that was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away..lol)

We used to get them free back then but haven't had them in years. Im 'down south' now and if I ever ask for them the SA hasn't a clue what im talking about....:( Same with Fritters... a proper Fritter is the size of a piece of fish and looks like fish but made up with mash and chunks of fish in batter, if I ask for one down here I end up with a stupid little fishcake.... Im hungry now..:rotfl:

    Quick question

Do Tesco's Direct take a 'test' payment if you use a new debit card?

I ask this because I ordered the computer trolley yesterday but there are 2 transactions showing on my paypal account, one for £3.75 and another for £2.
If I log into the paypal access card site though the £2 is shown as 'pending'

    Any ideas ?

I am sure they do take a test payment , I have not checked lately when I have ordered something , but its ringing a bell from the past when I used to order grocery's they took £2 for test .
Never pay more than you have too
