There's no chain at all. The owner inherited it, did it up to rent out but has had nothing but trouble and just wants to sell. If all goes well we could be in in 6 - 8 weeks.

I'm being very good and have for most of the last few nights begun to restock my much depleted sleep bank . So I'll say goodnight and wish all a restful night . Icy and frosty here , love my thick flannelette and the fact there's a hot water bottle in the bed . Simple but lovely pleasures .
Just realised SM is going to be very surprised when she catches up . What a rollercoaster it's been since she last posted .

-1 here this morning and He Who Knows put the lawn mower over the back lawn yesterday to pick up all the fallen leaves.....and this morning the lawn is covered again, was pretty chilly last night and the trees just drop leaves in cold temperatures, poor boy!!!

Think we might go into the city today on the bus for a Bratwurst from the German Market and a trip to Ikea for some of their rye crisp breads then home again for a Cookie walk (He Who Knows is just consuming warming porridge before taking her this morning) and I've found a nice low fat recipe for Egg and Pea Curry that comes in at 197 calories per portion without the rice which I'll cook for supper.

Had Maisie doggie for the evening last night, I walked with her and her mum and then brought her home on my own for the first time. She squeaked lots but ate her supper and came to join me in the study instead of standing by the front door. Lots of stroking and cuddles this time and she even let me put my arm over her back and we sat on the stairs together, I even got a tail wag and a lick so progress is being made and I'm sure it won't be long before she's happy to be here and settled, she's a nice little dog!!!

Hope you got some sleep last night FUDS and the excitement didn't keep you awake, how did the girls react when you told them you'd bought a home? I know they are used to moves but surely this will be the best thing to happen for them too as well as you and DH. Bless you love, it's all part of that 'meant to be' thing isn't it? Be happy!!!
