Hi FTM that was last week and fabulous it was too, so exciting that Andreas wedding day is so close and that you are all so closely involved in the preparations, love the idea of homemade confetti, brilliant stuff. I hope that the whole wonderful day goes vey smoothly and happily for all of you and that you all have the most wonderful happy day, Lyn xxx.0

FTM you are busy and what lovely produce.
It is our wedding anniversary on the 24th June, so all June brides.
The outfits sound gorgeous, you have put a lot of thought into it, I hope you have a wonderful time.
I can understand why you are so proud of Sam, and he is working hard on the allotment as well as the elderly lady's. She probably looks on him as a grandson, and he is obviously not shy of talking to older people. Some young people are shy, rather than rude, and don't feel at ease talking to elderly people. DGDs boyfriend is lovely and is coming out of his shell now, but always kisses me when he comes round and shakes hand with Himself.
Really looking forward to the holiday now, have to make sure DD has enough fresh food to last her most of the week (her freezer and cupboards are full to bursting) and Himself will pick DGD up from work on Friday to bring her here. She will still be in bed when we go Saturday morning but Fora will have company.
Give the girls a hug from me and I hope they have a wonderful time on Saturday.
Much love to you all

FTM you're allowed!!! Its manic busy and bustly getting something as special as a family wedding organised and in place and I don't know anyone who wouldn't be whirling on thier heels at this point, you're doing fine and you'll be on cloud nine when it is all happening and have a lovely time followed by two more lovely days for your anniversary and your birthday, then you'll all sleep for a week!!! Love and Hugs Lyn xxx.0

FTM - I can't believe the wedding has come round so quickly. I'm sure it's going to be a manic few days however I hope everything goes well. It certainly sounds like you have it all under control!
Candlelight - it's great to be on the countdown to a break - only a few more days to go now!
Hoglet -I know exactly what you mean about the joints. I taped up the knee last week for a body attack session and half way through the other knee started to play up. I think I should just mummify myself with the tape before a class and that will cover all eventualities!
I have my first tomato - also a yellow one - which I'm watching like a hawk. They are in my "new to me" greenhouse and I think I'm just impatient however I had expected them to grow a bit faster once the greenhouse was up and running. I'm planning to pick up a cucumber plant and some strawberries this week to keep the tomatoes company.
My first early potatoes have taken off spectacularly though -in fact I think they are taking over. My cherry tree is also getting ready to harvest. I'll have to be ready this year - last year I thought I would wait for the weekend which was about 2 days away only to be beaten by the birds. They didn't leave a single cherry so this year I won't be beaten (famous last words!)
I'm off to water the potatoes now - who knows what height they will be tomorrow - it's like Jack and the Beanstalk!0 -
Good morning all,
This might be my only chance today, so I just want to say look after yourselves whilst I am away.
FTM it sounds as though the weather will be good tomorrow for the wedding, and I do so hope everything goes well. I am sure it will with all the planning, and you will all look gorgeous.
Lyn. Look after that boy if you have any more storms and love to the Zebra child.
AOT hope the feet are OK now, travelling long journeys usually does the same to me, not a pretty sight.
SM you sound thrilled with your "new" greenhouse, but I think you have to be patient:) In a short while you will be wondering what on earth you are going to do with all the tomatoes and cucumbers.
Hoglett hello, hope the weather is OK for you, I still can't get my head around the fact your weather is opposite to ours. I have led a very sheltered life:)
To everyone look after yourselves and will "see" you in a weeks time.
Much love

Well girls are in bed,we are going to have a little drink in a mo..celebrate our Anniversary..tomorrow is going to be hectic...
Andrea is arriving here at 12ish..having lunch and then getting ready..the photographer is arriving early to get pics of Bride and her little sisters and brother and me and Simon..we have arranged a lot of flowers in big tubs and put them under the arch so we have somewhere pretty to pose lol...she wants a pic taken of her on the girls fairy swing..
The neighbours have been amazing and offered to move their cars out the way so the Bentley can get on the path outside our house..
Thank you all for the good wishes..

Evening everyone, too much real life been going on to post on MSE recently!
Nice to hear about wedding jollifications, birthdays, etc - FTM it was our 28th wedding anniversary the first week of June, and our grandson's birthday soon, so we're joining the June brigade, too!
In my garden I have potatoes, planted late but I still hope, pea and green bean seedling nearly ready to plant out, apples and blackberries going great guns, a few lonely plums, and some supermarket herbs that are going in some tubs outside to get my money's worth from them!
Happy anniversary, FTM, and enjoy the wedding. x
Lyn, keep enjoying little Zebra, love hearing updates.
Candelight, have a fab holiday, "see" you soon.
Hoglet, hope your knees hold out whilst running!
Scottishminnie, glad you're enjoying your greenhouse, rather envious!
Hugs and good vibes to anyone I've missed.
