Please can someone put me out of my misery and tell me, via pm, the 'T words' that must not be spoken.

A word that rhymes with rough, but begins with a T.
Hope that helps

Hello all..we are here and ok..sorry we have just been very busy..
Am so glad we all got away with the storms..feel so sorry for those folks that didn't.
We have spent the weekend sorting the garden and planning the allotment.
Simon is looking so much healthier already..he really has landed on his feet with his job..lovely boss and friendly people.
I am feeling much much better in myself..still not eating much but am feeling good.
I got a good head start on my presents for christmas...s*insbrys had a half price toy sale..got quite a few bits for girls..instead of £40 i got it for just under £20..not bad and i got nectar points on it too..going to spent those on crackers and a turkey..
Today we are decorating the house for Halloween..the girls have made some paper plate ghosts and i spray painted some beer bottles black with "BOO" and "EEEKKK!!!"..on them..going to pop a glow stick in them they should light up nicely..got 2 pumpkins ready..just going to drill holes in one and the wrap twine with spiders on it around the other...got some little home made witchy outfits for the girls too...should be fun.
Mlw..op poor docky..jack slept like a log through the wind..
Kate..i love new carpet smell..
right got to go..
take care all
love

Afternnoon all
Glad everyone survived "the storm" relatively intact.
OH spent the weekend fretting about his flight yesterday morning - only to arrive safely in Hamburg (albeit with rather a bump) and the onward train to be cancelled and was stranded in Hamburg for the night.
Still he and DS are back on track today - literally as they got an early express to catch their steam train up a mountain.
I am ridiculously busy with work - 4 more weeks and it should calm down.
FTM - glad OH is a lot happier.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

Morning all..was up at 6 again..had a lovely sight..lots of geese flying over very low in the clear sky..wished i had my camera on me..but then its not something you think of whilst letting the chickens out lol..still it was a beautiful sight.
I have an interview this morning to see if i am eligible for some help with the rent and council tax..
We all went to the allotment yesterday..i sorted out the shed that simon has let me and the girls have for a tea room.We got rid of the rubbish in it and i aired it out...swept it all clean and i found 3 old chairs behind the shed..just need a clean..and i have a small wooden table here that i will take up later on...o its so gorgeous up there..lovely view of the valley..we dug over half of it..took down the sunflowers and sweetcorn that have gone over..and took down the netting that was up..so a busy afternoon...i took the girls on a walk around the allotments..some very lovely ones..inspiring to say the least..got lots of ideas from some of them..a nice lady has 3 allotments and has turned one into a mini orchard..she introduced herself and then promptly gave us 2 huge bags of apples..all cookers..wonderful..had a nice long chat with her, very lovely..hoping to make a new friend there.
I have decorated the house for Halloween..not much just a few key pieces..looks nice..
We have been having porridge for breakfast in the mornings yummy..Simon has got his bread making zen back..he has been making lovely farmhouse loaves in the afternoons..smell so good.
Thanks for the tips on Aldi..i love going there..had a huge trolley full once and was shocked at how little it cost..nice stuff from there.
Right girls are up..see you all later.

We're off to the farm shop for a pumpkin this morning, we didn't grow them this year but have a butternut squash mountain insted, 30 odd squashes, and I've made 3 dozen chocolate buns which I'll decorate with orange icing and choc chips to make pumpkin faces on them. I'm also going to make 3 dozen rice crispie cakes and decorate them with white icing and haribo jelly bats and spiders and I've got 4 dozen 2 finger kitkat bars too (from when the village shop had them reduced to 50p for 8) so that should see us through the evening. We have a convention that the kids follow and they only call at houses with a lit pumpkin in the window so I don't feel the least bit guilty for playing, there's so little for our young ones to do here it would be mean not to let them have one nights' fun. Because the kids do obey the unwritten rules there are no upset older folks from being trick or treated. We put candles in jamjars all up the drive to light a path and hang solar and candle lanterns in the trees so the tiny ones are OK, I love it that parents come round in costume too, and the older kids make an effort so why not let them and us enjoy is what I say, have fun, Cheers Lyn xxx.0

Sounds lovely, I love it when the kids come in their costumes but sadly I don't get to see many as I lie in an old peoples group of bungalows and apparently so many have complained that the school now tell the kids not to disturb us. I have bought some treats and am really hoping to be disturbed. :rotfl:Slimming World at target0 -
We had a super evening with so many kids coming to the door I lost count. Most of them in homemade costumes this year and lots with parents which I like. I've very few cakes left and some 20 kitkats which He Who Knows can munch his way through. Nicest bit, some teenage girls called and two of them stopped half way up the drive, so I called and said come and have cake and they said no, we've already called at your house tonight and we've had kitkats so we won't have anything else because that's not fair to you. Needless to say I managed to give them some cake, just for being so nice!!! Hope everyone else had a lovely evening, Lyn xxx.0
