That's a good deal ... I just don't need that many talk minutes (esp as I can't get good reception in my office - from any provider - so wouldn't be able to use the mobile for calls when I'm in the office anyway)

I had also set my budget at £20 per month (which my deal meets, I reclaim the VAT).

300mins (i dont go over this)
unlimited texts
'unlimited' internet (apparently ive beed on an unlimited blackberry internet allowance, even though ive never had a blackberry but i dont get charged for data)

would prefer the htc desire s2 because the samsung looks too big for my pocket but htc is £50. any advice?

(just off out, but any advice for when i return would be much appreciated)

I am due an upgrade from vodaphone - mobiles.co.uk who i bought my last contract from are trying to sell me a new deal - an S2, 24 months, 600 mins (i need this many), unlimited texts and 500 internet for £27.75 a month using cashback. i dont mind doing the cashback but this still seems quite high compared to some others, is it cheaper to go straight to vodaphone i wonder? who were you with custardy to get the 18 month deal?

Slightly off topic, but how can companies like phones 4 u offer Vodafone contracts cheaper than Vodafone themselves.....I was looking at a new phone and it's £41pm directly through Vodafone but phones 4 u are offering the exact same phone/package for £31pm? Is it just a case of Vodafone trying to rip people off?

many factors come into it
P4U buy in sim free phones and offer a contract withi it
the netowrks offer sim locked with their own guff on them
however,none of the resellers could beat Oranges upgrade offer for my OH
so its not always cheaper
