    I would recommend that you send a simple letter just for the account closure and a seperate letter (if you choose) for the complaint. That way there is no excuse for the letters not to be placed in the correct workflow.

    I was very impressed how quickly my recent closure letter was actioned.
  • I'd send Opinions4u's letter, you never know they may compensate you for your time. Go in all guns blazing and they wont though.
  • many staff members arent aware as it wasnt well communicated but Cardcash accounts if under 18 must be closed in branch.

    However you state you want a visa debit branded account, if you were to phone and say you lost your card you will find that the new card is Visa debit (changed in september)
