What does it say in your contract of employment regarding their ability to deduct these from your salary? They may be on a sticky wicket, in fact I suspect they are.Je Suis Cecil.0

Many lease cars are block bought and put through one DVLA office, the ppc scammers know these block registrations by filling in gaps from what they already know, so as soon as they see a lease car, often the fake ticket is in the post as they know the money is as good as in the bag.
Until someone sues a lease company for paying a scam long will it continue.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I know my employers just pay up and then get it back from "us"
Thanks for your interest and support with this as a lease holder yourself. It can be frustrating to know that employers have the potential to make decisions on behalf of the lease holder in such circumstances and hopefully you can benefit from my current experience to challenge your employers in future disputes with PPC's.:)
Not much to update as was hoping to get union views on this but unfortunately, the rep has not got back to me
Leasing dept acknowledged receipt of my last e-mail containing further information, as advised here.
Have also informed that I will be happy to discuss any further concerns with regards to their legal liabilities in this matter, should the PPC make further contact with them at any future point.
Leasing dept advised they are unable to clarify their possession on this matter without seeking legal advice, which they appear reluctant to do at this time but have acknowledged my intentions to deal with the PPC directly and have offered their support if the PPC do not make contact with me.
Leasing not quite on board and I do get the feeling of playing ping pong at times with e-mails as EHBA mentions but the e-mails are all recorded for future reference with regards to how leasing have responded in this matter and believe that they are now fully aware of my legal intent to justify my position as a lease holder and that future decisions made on my behalf without my consent, will be challenged.
Hopefully I can now receive PPC letters, without the ping pong

Perhaps symptomatic of how well presented the scam is that even large companies appear unsure of themselves; what chance does the disabled pensioner have?0

Received my first letter today, sent directly from the PPC
Just wondering if I should keep the leasing department informed of these letters as when the PPC do not here from me, they will probably contact my leasing department again0 -

Yes. Get to the leasing people before the PPC does, so they don't pay them. And keeping them informed is good "PR" and will show them what you're both up against. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Received final reminder yesterday from the PPC
No action taken on my behalf., apart from recycling the paper0 -
Despite being called a 'final reminder' there is still a good chance that you may receive the 'final final reminder', the 'final final final reminder' and the 'oh pleeeeeeeeeease give us some money reminder'.Je Suis Cecil.0
