She can't just get into the car, she climbs all over it, moving her booster seat about until she is happy.
Only when I was moving the car seat seat did I find hewing gum stuck to my seat
Are there any OS ways to remove it
Yes. Buy a can of cigarette lighter gas. Spray the gas over the chewing gum until it is frozen then break it off in small pieces. You may be lucky and have it all come off in one go.
BTW I recommend you wear gloves when doing this as the gas can freeze your fingers too.0 -
Yes-the classic way to shift gum on clothes is to freeze them.
(Deeply impressed by this mobile alternative btw)

Glad to be of service. Particularly as I know this trick works every time. Get a nail file or something to gently break up the gum when it's frozen. Don't bend the cloth when you're doing it because the cloth will be frozen too and will break.0 -
Hi, you could get some ice cubes into a plastic food bag or any b ag where the water will not leak out. Fill it with ice cubes and place onto the gum for about 5 minutes. Use a wallpaper scraper or blunt knife to gently prize off the gum in one piece. This does work and is free.
Good luck!0 -

I would use the opposite to ice - steam, and progressively tease out.0

I successfully got rid of chewing gum stuck to the back of a pair of jeans, which had actually embedded in the stitching.
Spray with WD40 , no it doesnt make it greasy as there is no grease in this product. Soak well, leave for 30 mins then wash. Leaves no residue marks behind. i got this tip off the internet and it really does work. Good luck0 -
Used the washing up liquid and salt combination. Took a bit of doing, but the gum kind of rubbed off (like a sticky label) - this was on cargo pants. Washed them after, good as new0
