Removing Chewing Gum

there is a product you can get from your local supermarket that removes all sorts of stuff including chewing gum, its called De solv it.
the stuff is really good, and is really cheap and can be used to remove all sorts of things from clothes and textiles
i would have posted a picture of the can but the site would not let me

the can of De solv it only costs around £3 and is superb on all sorts of sticky problems not to mention all sorts of stains, you will find it in the stain remover section near the washing powder of your local supermarket.

Tip.
1) google De solve it and look for a picture of the can so you know what you are looking for when you go to the supermarket.
2) when removing chewing gum from carpet use a fork or chewing gum perforator to pierce holes in the gum this will allow better penetration of the cleaning product (be carefull not to damage the carpet or hurt yourself when piercing or removing the chewing gum, always pre test cleaning products on a small hidden area first to make sure the product wont damage the fibres or colour)
