I don't know how to do that so you could just see the garden pics and not all my family ones?

I thought the plants were your children? They get more attention, anyway. :rotfl:
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Wow, looks very organised and neat. I congratulate you :)

I got them from this seller on eBay. I've seen them for at least three times the price in garden catalogues. You know, the ones you pick up and leaf through, muttering "How much? More money than sense, some people!" ;)

Great find MBE, will get some to stop people climbing over my fence from the ginnel at the side of little plot. Many thanks!!

Yes just feed your peppers and chilis with tomato food, I wait till they are flowering.
Not PIP chili though, apparently they a wild type and don't do feed!

Got a bit of pottering about done today, pea net up against the fence, finally finished digging that bed, moved a rhubarb from a pot into a huge recycling bag, topped up my tatties in containers then......... ran out of growbags.
Will have to go and get some tomorrow and pot on my flowering toms and peppers and shuffle round my windowsills. Also want to get some peas in tomorrow. (Will plant out my sweet pea seedings in amongst them as they have been hardened off.)
Need to get my strawberries out of their pots and into the ground (in new bed) as well as keep having to move them to turn the motorbikes around!

Finally got my first raspberry cane today :j Half price in Wilko (thanks to lawrie's thread ;)) £1.49 ~ raspberry polka rubus ideaus. It's in a cardboard box rather than a pot like the £5 one I saw the other day, but it's definitely alive because I did the scratch test :p

    :T
You could try for 2 crops from them

    http://www.rhsplants.co.uk/plants/_/fruit/bush/berries-etc/raspberry/fruit/fruit-and-berries/cane-fruit/raspberry-polka-pbr/classid.2000011104/

but I'd keep it simple first and just have one per year like everyone else :p
I've done double cropping and it can get confusing with the amount of canes hanging around, especially as you're putting them in pots.
Don't forget to put some canes in to tie them too or if they're in a long tub against a fence you could put wires along the fence and tie the canes to those.

Want to see my 'greenhouse'? :D

    It's a bit 'bijou'. :rotfl:

    Does the job perfectly though.

My seedlings are all growing nicely *touches wood* and all is well in my little world right now. Funny how content you can be, surrounded by little green things. :D

These shelves go round the 3 window sides.....

    Porch1.jpg

Toms look fairly happy I think....

    Toms.jpg

    More toms....

    MoreToms.jpg

The cucumbers that didn't die on me or get nasty white stuff seem ok too....

    Cucumbers-1.jpg

    Cauliflower seems ok...

    Cauliflower.jpg

    And parsley & basil.....

    Parsley.jpg

    Peppers look very small though.....

    Peppers.jpg

Family are not loving the greenhouse as much as I am....they want the porch back for their coats/shoes/other rubbish they dump at the door. No chance! :D

So not only do I have greenhouse envy, neat and tidy garden envy, gardens bigger than 10' wide envy, I now have porch envy too! Looking good, well done;)
Some of my chillis are that size too still for some reason this year so I wouldn't worry, they'll grow soon enough.

And saw the other garden pics too.....this is all looking far to organised, neat and tidy...........may need a brandy to steady my nerves :rotfl:

Oh I missed the garden pics :( I love seeing other people's pictures as it gives me a push to get more done! The porch is looking great though aliasojo-great use of space and way more neat and tidy than my greenhouse!
Not much done gardening wise as in planting yesterday but hubby and dad did re-felt my potting shed roof and fitted a new 210l water butt to the garage. They managed to fit this and get inside just as the rain came which was great-its already about 1/3 full! I pruned the camilia-which I don't like doing but it was getting mangled in with a pear tree so had to be trimmed. I also started to prune another shrub/tree but couldn't reach (I am quite small!) so will get hubby to do this later.
Today's plan is lots of potting on of toms, chillis, peppers and flowers. Still no sign of french beans or cucumbers-very strange as these were fine last year so I will have a rummage in the pots and start more I think. Happy sunday gardening to all :)

Today I am mostly being disappointed with my spring onions. Well, I would be, if I had any. :(

I sowed some outside  must be a month ago. Nowt. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. :(

Two of the four lavender cuttings I took (sans rooting hormone) appear to be dying. That's ok though, because it means the other two are probably taking. :) The three rosemary cuttings all look ok.

The pond level doesn't seem to have dropped enormously overnight. Perhaps a bit, but I don't know how much rain we had on account of being asleep.

I have achocha seedlings. Whatever they are:

How closely can you plant kohl rabi?

    Happy Sunday everyone.

I am contemplating doing gardening this afternoon, but have questions:

I have a lot of flowering dandelions. What can I do to get rid of them?

I have some seedlings that are growing too big for their toilet rolls. Don't want to put them outside yet, so what can I do?

My blinking pepper plant must be root-bound by now BUT WON'T STOP GROWING. Gah. Shall I repot it? It's about 3 foot high and flowering at the top.

My chili plant has survived the winter. The soil has some green stuff growing on it. Shall I repot it?

If you can help, I promise (really promise) that I will take some photos and post later today.
