how to control son's disruptive behaviour

Thanks for all the replies and different advice.
My son does not eat many jelly/boiled sweets, he likes the occasional chocolate after school or biscuit but thats all. I dont think he eats too many processed foods, so i dont think this is an issue, but i still try and keep an eye on his diet and at weekends try to give him more home cooked food.
When he is disruptive in class i am told by the teachers its because he is trying to help his friends.
I have had a long chat with him over the weekend and today made a plan what he is allowed to do after school. Some days he is allowed the pc/ps3 some days not at all. He did think this is unfair but i told him its down to me trusting him and vice versa. If he goes against the rules he loses all treats for that week; but if he is good he gets more treats at the weekend (e.g pizza out, more game time, invite a friend etc).
He does other social activities, he is a member of a swimming club, judo and cubs. At school he plays in the football class and music lessons at lunchtimes. He is not a fidgety kid and occasionally forgetful (but i dont think no more than any kid his age)0
