Amber necklace for teething baby

I recently heard about the amber necklaces - baby nephew wears one and his parents say it makes a world of difference with his teething.
As for me - my children are too old to need them now but happy to say that all 3 of them (2 in their twenties and one teen) have fab teeth and not one filling between them yet! Touching wood for them all!
None of mine had any orthodontic works either - just good toothbrushing, regular visits to dentist, no sugar squashes and fizzy was kept to a minimum. Only thing I can recommend was paying for their back teeth to be coated when their second ones came in, to seal them. Well worth the money. Smile an Osmond smile!

Thanks to everyone who added to the thread. I've ordered my son an anklet as he's having lots of trouble with teething. We've used to Ashton & Parsons powders before, which I should say were absolutely fab but my son is now lactose intolerant so can't have them any more. I'll try anything (safely, lol) once.

DS1 suffered with teething for about a week. DS2 not at all. Neither wore a necklace.

Now had I bought a necklace as soon as DS1 started teething and put one on DS2 I would be attributing this to the powers of the necklace. No doubt my experience with teething is not uncommon.

Which is exactly why anecdotal evidence is not relied upon when assessing the suitability of treatments.
