I have no problems with people having different views. However, in all conscience I cannot stay quiet if I think somebody is doing something that could bring serious harm to their baby.

And thats it in a nutshell - where is your evidence that can show that this simple teething neclace is going to harm a baby??? jeez oh get a grip

As for the PP who mentioned would we give our children acid if they said it was safe - What blooming land do you live in?

I dont use amber necklace / anklet on my baby, ashton and parsons is the only thing that helps him, however I would never be so rude as some people on this thread have been towards the people that choose to use them.

A few of my friends use them on their babies and that's their choice and not for me to comment on just as its not their place to comment when i administer an ashton and parson powder to my son.

And for the person who said homeopathy doesnt work, I disagree. Erm, all though my case study is a dog;) I have an 8 year old dog who has had chronic skin ailments since a pup. He has seen leading vets in the country, been on every medication going, had all the tests and he is allergic to meat, wheat and dairy, carpet and grass. I started feeding him a fully vegan after these tests. After researching homeopathic remedies I immediately stopped all his medication, shampoo, injections and switched over. I continued with his vegan diet and starting making my own shampoo for him and putting homeopathic oils in his food. No steroids, no piriton.

Two years on and he is a different dog. No more scratching till he bleeds, his hair is growing back and no more pointless vet bills for a new wonderdrug. It hasnt cured him and never will, but I think homeopathy has helped my old man.

What on earth is a homeopathic oil? As homeopathy involves the 'memory' of water, how can it be used in oil form?

If they have no effect, then they are not going to poison our children. So leave us to our placebo, and link us to articles etc (I happily read them all, as an insomniac with a husband who is away, I like to have extra to read) but please don't belittle us and laugh at us. Are we not all adults together? Can we not respect each others choices and agree to disagree? But politely, please.

(and I fully apologise for losing my rag a bit further back in the thread, but I dislike being insulted :) )

Ashton and Parsons are chamomile and sugar. The sugar distracts and the chamomile soothes and calms. They are not homeopathic (unlike teetha sachets).

For goodness sake read the thread and how these things are supposed to work, before you come charging in.

I didn't say they were homeopathic, I just said that i used them as they are the only only thing that works on my son.
