Thanks for the tip - I have a smart phone have no clue with google docs so will have to investigate

Strange things bananas - I decided three years ago I didn't like the taste of them and so stopped eating them - then a couple of months ago I ate one and loved them again - been buying reduced ones and making banana muffins

Now if banana muffins don't have big chunks of soggy 'narna in them then I might like those??

G00gle docs is useful if you have an android phone as you generally have to have a gmail address anyway so you would have access to the Docs part as well. I swear by Evern0te though...it's my favourite thing :) every web browser has an available Evernote web clipper too so if you find something useful or that you want to read later on the web, you just select it and clip it to Evernote which will sync across the web version, mobile app and desk top version. I use it for everything and I save loads of recipes etc on it, links and useful info from on here, I forward all receipts/confirmations etc to it. There is a paid version (which I admit I use because I save such a lot of stuff to it), but essentially it's mostly free if you want it :money:

Miss Lily bought herself the Dora the Explorer cooking mag today as its the first edition, so 99p :D came with 4 silicone muffin cases and a Dora plate, so we had to make muffins when we got home. They were not huge, but she was happy :o

Same with R@sspa-just googled and LOVE IT.

ETA: I was just looking at R0sspa-is it like AF where it just depends whats in stock or do they carry regular lines? Im really liking some of what I see.

i've only used them since xmas (just after i found them) and have placed a couple of orders, their fruit & veg is lovely really fresh. The bread was 80p i think for a loaf and it was HUGE compared to a SM one  I love their bin bags too & their toiletries offers. But yes I think it is just what they have in stock on the day. The postage is 25kg - £5.50.....I just posted on my diary about the order i just got today and all the food is fab, but they use so much packaging (and i am always moaning about SM using too much packaging lol and now i'm ordering from someone else doing the same ) lol

Ok I think I'm becoming quite disillusioned with the supermarkets :( Is anyone else having a hard time trying to work out where the decent offers are? I've just looked through mr T, mr A, and mr W on mysupermarket and I can't see any real offers :( am I missing something? All I keep thinking is "well that looks too expensive..." or "I saw that cheaper last week..." it's making it hard to update the current good offers :( all I can see is Shreddies in Mr T

i reckon the SM's are on to us :rotfl: they realise we have started a new revolution! Trying to get one over on the SM's and they are having none of it ;):p

I've just had a "yippee" moment :) Phoned Mum this morning to ask what she wants for Mothers Day, and she said she'd like her facial soap (expensive brand). Just looked on JL and I can get it with my £15 vouchers which are currently in my stockpile as it's £14 with them :) Oh and another LBM has gone off... if I buy it for her with the voucher I don't need to spend an additional £14 on her, instead I can keep that £14 for myself. Previously I'd been thinking in terms of I'll spend that much on her and then give her the free thing on top of that! tut tut tut.

    :T:j yay great bargain!

Well My Dh took 2 boxes of cereal from the store this morning and when i got up and came down he said to me that he had done it so i knew and could adjust my purses :rotfl::j he finally gets it......kinda.........he still thinks he can eat one box of cereal a day now still *sigh*

I don't think we've ever ever eaten as much cereal as we have over the past few weeks! I may have to start hiding things lol so he doesn't realise how much of the stuff we have left!

My rosspa delivery came. 2 toothpastes (colgate) to store -cost me £1 for both will sell back at £1 each (£1 profit)
3 mouth washes (think these were £1 each) so will sell back at £1.50 for 50p profit on them all. Ummmm oh yes and my beloved bin bags :rotfl: have 3 more lots @ £1 each so will sell back at £2 which is what i normally pay in SM. I owed the 2nd purse £4 for cereal, £3 for noodles, but will just call it quits i think as doing a swap of sorts with these bits :)

Won't be on tomorrow as am collecting ds1 from school for half term :j should be back by Saturday though ;)

I bought them online, I was quite happy with the deal, but well done you, that was a great boost to your points :T:T:T
Make every penny work for you. And do your utmost to keep the profit in one of your purses, at least then you have a cushion. I like to think of the 3rd Purse as the Bank that never says no, its always good for a loan:) I used some of my 3rd purse money last year to fill up my freezers with DR meat, I'm glad I did, we are eating better than we ever did.

I tried to buy online but it would only allow me to put one in my basket as supplies are limited.....:( Will try in store

Nice as it is to have offer (of sorts) on B#ked Beans and T#ilet Rolls, the nation cannot live on those. :rotfl::rotfl:Just had a funny thought:rotfl::rotfl: Maybe because we often see Baked Beans on offer they think they should put T Rolls on offer as well.)

Ok then one for the bakers :) Please tell me if these aren't good offers

Mr T have silver spoon caster sugar 1kg for 99p
    Mr S have McDougalls 1.5kg plain/self-raising flour £1.10

The sugar seems good to average. The flour about average for the brand but own brand is usually about 60p in most supermarkets....

    Clover 250g £1 in Mr S and Mr A
:( That works out to £4/kg...this one is £3.70 (so 37p/100g instead of 40p)http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=clover&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=184641

Or you can drag the Word doc into Dr0pbox. All these offer free storage and have free smartphone apps.
I use dropbox but never thought to access it from my phone.Thank you.

I think they are just doing this because they know more people are trying to bake at home now. The same thing with flour, the prices are shocking.

Im a cake decorator so its crippling me-especially as the SM's currently stock "celebration cakes". I do edible image printing too but to make it worth it I need to charge £8 for an A4 icing sheet...you can get a really crappy cake from SM's with a printed picture on it for £10 so I havent had any work for ages.Thankfully though I dont really *have* to earn coz we get by on DH's income. But its something i love to do and its just getting harder.
