I give up-I cant catch up.This child has me shattered but I love her to bits.
Mothership thank you for your lists!Im going back to weight watchers in a few weeks (after 6 week check) and also as Im breastfeeding for the first time (goodness that puts a lump in my throat-third time lucky)Im looking at making my meal plans as effective as they can be with a view to both weight loss and milk supply. Im pretty passionate about the Pro points plan and once I have lost the 3 stone I need to lose to get to goal-I plan to look at training for leadership-adding your superfoods list will give me that one more push.Speaking of ww, someone was asking about their ready meals etc? I think it was Flying Fresian? Farmfoods has a good range, normally 5 for £4 and if you get their flyers through the post box that adds significant savings.
Im obviously still a newbie as Im not understanding these Rainforest glitches you're all talking about-how have I missed out?Same with R@sspa-just googled and LOVE IT.
My big bugbear that I need help looking for is chocolte buttons...my boys are addicted and share a 70g bag between them every afternoon (dependant on their behaviour) and Im currently getting the SM own brand which is 70g bagx3 for £1 (or 40p for 1 bag).I must be able to do better?
ETA: I was just looking at R0sspa-is it like AF where it just depends whats in stock or do they carry regular lines? Im really liking some of what I see.0 -
polkadot I have been searching for buttons for you
when I find some I shall let you know. The glitches normally appear on the "grabbit" forum and you have to be everso quick to snap them up. I got 30 bottles of fairy liquid last year for just over £10 and I know the andrex one recently was a really good offer, I missed that one. Sometimes we get them sometimes we don't so I wouldn't worry too much.
Sorry to everyone about the spreadsheet I've been really bad with it this last week, excitement of the new nephew and changing jobs this coming Monday, I've had little time to sit down and hush for one secondI'm cracking on with it now. Maybe it'll be easier for me to update it on Wednesdays when the offers have come out. Thanks to those that have updated it in my absence
Need to pay my 2nd purse for a bottle of fairy that my housemate put in the kitchen today.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Just a quick check in tonight as I have a headache.
Did my usual weekly shop tonight, was trying to miss it altogether, but somehow got drawn in:rotfl:
2nd & 3rd purses building slowly but surely. I could do with a bit more in my 2nd purse, but will have to wait a bit.
The T Roll offer is on in our Mr*C so might try and get some of those.
Keep warm everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Grapes
Are a cleansing and regenerative nourishing food, good for anemia, fatigue, arthritis, gout and rheumatism. A two day mono-fast on nothing but grapes every 10 days is recommended for anyone wanting to lose weight. Grapes also help with skin problems, urinary system disorders, arthritis and gout.
Kiwi Fruit
Is a treasure of nutritional riches, it has more fibre that apples has as much vitamin C as Avocados and twice the vitamin C of oranges, rich in potassium and high in sodium. Every cell in our bodies need potassium lack of it can lead to depression, high blood pressure, poor digestion and fatigue. There is 4mg of sodium in each fruit but 1 fruit can yield up to 250mg of potassium.
Leeks
From the same family as garlic and onions, with many of the same therapeutic properties but a milder form. Rich in potassium they are known for their cleansing diuretic properties, they can help eliminate uric acid so are good for sufferers of gout and arthritic problems.
Lemons
Twice as much vitamin C as oranges, used to treat infections of the respiratory tract.
Lemon oil is a bactericide ( used in aromatherapy) it activates the immune system by stimulating white corspuscule.
Lemons are rich in bioflavenoids. The acid in lemons metabolize during digestion and produce potassium carbonate, helping to neutralize acidity. Lemon Juice protects the mucous membrane in the digestive tract.
Lentils
Are around 23% protein. 100g supply 2/3rds of our daily needs. Eaten with vitamin C rich foods improve absorption. They have B complex vitamins and nicotinic acid B3.
High in purines , so gout sufferers should avoid.
Melons
Mildly stimulating to the kidneys, and also a gentle laxative. Melon should be eaten on its own or as a starter as it ferments in the stomach.
Milk
Is a first class protein rich in calcium B vitamins , zinc and some iron. Skimmed milk has much less fat but you loose vitamins A,D and E. Due to allergies in some milk isn’t every ones superfood.
Millet
High in protein low in starches is easily digested, it doesn’t cause gas as it doesn’t ferment in your stomach. Its very nutritious and rich in silicon, a great cleansing mending mineral. Silicon is a structural part of collagen that binds us together, its vital for healthy hair teeth , nails, skin, great for growing children and invalids.

Ok I think I'm becoming quite disillusioned with the supermarkets
Is anyone else having a hard time trying to work out where the decent offers are? I've just looked through mr T, mr A, and mr W on mysupermarket and I can't see any real offers
am I missing something? All I keep thinking is "well that looks too expensive..." or "I saw that cheaper last week..." it's making it hard to update the current good offers
all I can see is Shreddies in Mr T

It goes like that sometimes. But don't worry they will come, just keep piling up the pennies in your 2nd purse and be ready to pounce when they do.
I will owe my 2nd Purse a fair bit this month, as we have been eating out of the freezer. But the beauty of it is, when I transfer the money at the end of the month I will STILL have it LOL. This is the LOWEST my purses have had in them for many a year, well I did transfer the whole contents of the 3rd Purse into my savings at the beginning of the challenge
I'm loving this thread Kerry, there are so many lovely folk on it and getting into the spirit of it. Thank you again for starting it and keeping it going. xx1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

Oh your welcome mothership afterall if it wasn't for you we wouldn't even have a thread
I'm starting to think this might be week 6 of the SMs 6 week cycle so less offers this week and last week, might get some proper ones next week instead.
I've removed all the old offers and will add any new ones if people find them. Need to check out this loo roll offer myselfDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
