I spent £11.68 fron 2nd purse today for just over £18 worth of stock:
    Colgate Max whitening Tubes (100ml) 2.34 each, 2 for 1=bought 4 for 4.68 (Mr T)
Alberto Balsam shampoo:£1 each, bought 4 for £3 (same for conditioner.
Also the obligatory Chocolate buttons:3 for £1 usual price 40p

I ended up having to buy the Dylon colour catchers @ £2.99 for 24 sheets so will pop into Lidos on the weekend to look for the other ones mentioned earlier (sorry cant recall who it was:( )

    So I have £18.23 in my second purse.And a stockpile worth £146.34:j

I really want to sort out my bedroom tomorrow coz my new duvet cover arrived today from HB and I want to put it on my bed with the new egyption cotton sheets and pillowcases that should arrive tomorrow (was that Mothership?) Im going to update my signature now and type in my details for Mr T's price check and then go to bed-attempting to sleep in my own bed for the first time in at least a week.Hold thumb for me please?

There's still only £1.30 in my second purse, but I'm comfortable knowing that I won't have to buy any shampoo or conditioner until probably September :rotfl:

Yesterday my new purse arrived from Ebay (had been using a coin bag for my second purse!) but it was so nice that it's been upgraded to my grocery purse, as it's bigger than expected. I now have space to store coupons too :D If anyone notices any Weight Watchers foodstuffs on offer somewhere could they let me know - I have one of their soups for lunch every day and now that I've got into the habit of doing that of course they're not on offer anywhere *rolls eyes*

My mince should be arriving today :D

  • My mince should be arriving today :D

I hope you enjoy it FF! :T

Via your referral I have a meat pack to come as a gift, email yesterday said they will send it with my next order, so need to chomp some stuff out of the freezer so I can place an order :D

Let me know if the meat pack gift is good, as I was wondering about choosing that if someone asks to be referred via me :D

I used to get a pill every three months, Difflucan, there was another one , that was to kill off all the yeasts. There was another one I got but I cant remember the name of it. It helped but I had to take acidophilus in pill form, but later changed to live yoghurt culture to repopulate the gut with good bacteria.

I had nystatin and then another stronger one for just a week or so at a time (not good for the liver, apparently). Nasty tasting stuff it was :rotfl:

  • Good morning :)

mothership I was planning on selling the chocolate bars back at 25p each to ds & dh out of their money ;) They cost me 16p each (as i had some unused credit already on amaZon) so that is a profit in each one of 9p ;) and that way i won't be using MY grocery budget to replenish my second purse lol!

Dh is still happily helping himself to stuff grrrr need to be having some stern words me thinks! I'm not planning on getting anything else to add to the stock pile this month so i can let the purse build up but if i see a must have then maybe i'll buy something :p I've got an order coming from rosspa on thursday. I've ordered their bin bags (20 for £1 and super strong) and got 3 or 4 packs so will put them in the stock pile. They are ten times better & stronger than SM's ones and i will pay £2 for each pack back into the purse.

I am also thinking i like the idea of splitting profit between purse 2 & 3 .....so might do this from next month just so i can get off the mark for my freezer savings ;) (so impatient i know) but let the profit build for this month anyway in purse 2 so hopefully have around £50 in there by march :)

Hope everyone is well & your stores :p

Second Purse is struggling this month already :( It's owed £12.80 by grocery budget but grocery budget account has run dry with 2 weeks to go until payday  Mostly because January was soooo bad, which left us behind before Feb even started, plus OH took £20 out without telling me the other day to pay for concert tickets and a pizza :mad: That's what his pocket money is meant to be for. He's still not getting it...

On top of that, I borrowed his car to do the supermarket run at the weekend and found half a pack of cigarettes in the car door  (He gave up over 5 years ago when we met but his new colleagues all smoke and I think he's got into the habit by taking breaks with them :() Don't even really know how I feel about that, TBH....

    Ah well, ranty ranty.....

    Have a good Tuesday all :) x

Ahh i feel the same as you, dh gave up smoking when he got back from afghan (nearly a yr ago) and i found out he'd started again.......i was the last to know :( just wish he would be honest! After i found out he now openly does it so is always popping out for one

My grocery budget has also taken a hammering thanks to car breaking in Jan & needing new wheel in feb  i've tried to borrow money from all budgets to compensate but hasn't worked! I'm hoping it will all sort itself out by march!

I got some caster sugar in Home Bargains for £1.39 a kg bag, it was with the pancake day bits on the end of a aisle, they also had Allisons SR flour 99p 1.5kg. Sains caster sugar is £1.96 and its not something you see on offer often.

Bought Nutella yesterday in sains too as it had a third off.

Thats a good idea, they are much cheaper than them buying them in a shop LOL. I used to sell my greedy ones snack packs with crisps chocolate and a can for £1 (about £2 from a shop). They sold like hot cakes lol, if you explain to them you use the money to buy more they soon get the message that your grocery budget is for FOOD.

That was one of the drugs , it strips your gut bare leaving you open to all sorts, thrush being one of them. The diflucan if I remember right was one of the ones not good for the liver.

I used to take hot water with lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey ( and added fresh grated ginger if I had a cold starting, it stopped it in its tracks).

I had a wee look at my Superfoods book, I eat a lot of the 4 star superfoods. If anyone hasn't seen the book let me know and I will list them.
