But wouldnt the savings you make by buying in bulk be offset by the fees to the chiropractor to get your back put back together when you try and pick it up???? ;)
Ah this is where I get the postie to deliver it to my parents house, then I can attempt decanting it into smaller bottles. My mother says that when they deliver from the rainforest the postie looks rather put out, and then she moans at me for having things delivered there as in her 4 bed house for just her and Dad there is apparently no room?!?!

#023 jarus :j£0.00/£150.00 under the counter freezer

Hi kerri_dfw Thanks for updating this. Is there another Jarus on this thread. I wasn't aware that I'd actually said what I wanted and have looked back on my posts and can't see it anywhere.

Was this thread originally called something else?- could I have posted this on a different thread when I first joined mse at the beginning of 2010. An under the counter freezer was something that I might have wanted then but not now.

    Sorry to be a pain.

    Thanks

    Jarus xx
I think I copy and pasted the person above you and forgot to delete bits. Sorry, will amend now :)
I just had to buy Rachels yoghurt at full price because I couldn't remember who had the offer on :(

It is :) I've been collecting a nice stock of Suma as it's fairtrade, vegan, cruelty free. I've already got the 10kg washing powder but that was almost £35  and got loads of the 5ltr left. I've put a watch on camel for if it goes under £15. What price do you think I should buy at? It does smell lovely.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I like the Suma products too. I've got a watch on camel of £12.46 for the 20ltr.
Good grief Mothership  what a horrible experience for you and your loved ones :(

So pleased you are here to encourage us in our Second Purse endeavours :D

No one would have known about the 2nd Purse if I hadn't survived LOL. Maybe thats why I was sent back, my work wasn't finished :)

  • My 1st Donald Russell meat order just arrived, thanks to Mothership for the free P&P code! :j

I just ordered the minced steak to try and OMG, appart from the fact it looks lovely, it is packaged SO beautifully, I am really very pleased with it!!

You would think they had sent an expensive piece of jewellery, not some mince :D

BUT I think Mothership missed out on some sort of freebie? After I ordered I saw a "recommend a friend" thing, and I think if I had ordered via that, maybe Mothership would have got something? So many apologies for that! :o

Yes the packaging is something else. They have a Royal warrant and deserve it. Just wait till you taste it, It is most definitely the best mince. My wee granddaughter LOVES it she's just 17 months old, she comes to me after nursery for her dinner, she says nom nom with every mouthful, makes you feel like a great cook LOL. I posted a recipe for mince n totties 'n' dumplings on the GC thread.

I'm not worried about the gift, I just wanted you to get the mince at half price with the free delivery :D There's some nice gifts on offer there's nothing to stop you recommending someone else :)

    Hello :hello:

I just saw in Martin's weekly email that there is a voucher in tomorrow's Sun newspaper for £6 off £40 spend in Mr M for use between tomorrow and Sunday inclusive. Apparently you can use more than one, so if you're spending £80, put it through in 2x£40 transactions and use a voucher for each. That's one for 2nd Purse and one for groceries :D

I won't be spending that much on second purse again before the end of the week ;) but I'm sure I can make up my grocery shop to get the discount

So I'll be getting one but I hope it helps others, too. :T

A fellow M.Eer here :( been unable to work for over 2 years now and have a serious phobia of the doctors now as everytime I go in they send me to the bloomin hospital for observation  had to laugh when they sent me a dietition to convince me I had anorexia (cant get above 9 stone no matter what I do) great big burly bloke he was, who sat down next to me and did his 'gentle' voice, asking me what I eat each day. I said:

Breakfast = Cereal bowl full to top milk with a cup of tea + half a choc bar while im waiting for the kettle to boil cos im starving
    Choc bar about 10am
Lunch = 2 sandwiches, bag crisps, choc bars and a cup of tea
tea and biscuits at about 3pm
Dinner = Roast meat, 4 large roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, parsnips, 2 large balls of stuffing and gravy
Pudding = Cake and 4 scoops of icecream

He just stared at me :rotfl:

We are not sure if M.E is acutally hereditary as my eldest sister also contracted it at 18 and it seems my nan and great nan used to take to their beds for weeks on end :( hope not, dont want to pass it on to one of my kids :(

Good morning all - and welcome to all the new peeps - hubs still thinks I am a little crazy but he isn't complaining - I only started the grocery challenge in January and I have kept to the budget I set, I took over doing all the shopping and cooking so we now have a meal at a decent time everyday and I have batch cooked so there are meals in the freezer as well and I am loving my 2nd purse.

Bet Doris is kicking herself now! lol ...loving Doris and Edna :)

One of ours had a nasty bladder infection and the vet advised that he (the cat not the vet) was likely to be prone to them in the future so we needed to keep him on the "good stuff" so I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for Iams offers which the two of them seem to like. I'll keep an eye out for Purina too while I'm hunting and if I spot an offer I'll post it up :)

Ahh my two are both prone to crystals and are now both on science plan but I love them so much they are worth it - Pets at H currently have Science Plan on 3 for 2 so I have stocked up

My ME went away, had it for 8 years, its a horrible illness, I wish you better. I still have a poor immune system and catch bugs easily. I had pancreatitis in 2004 and was in a coma for 3 months, wasn't expected to live, but here I am still alive lol.

Oh my Mothership so glad you are here and hope all is well now

I'm kind of fortunate in that I don't have ME but I do have CFS (i.e. I have the exhaustion and a weak immune system, amongst other issues, but don't have the muscle weakness/pains). It's really lovely to hear of someone that's managed to come out the other side of it. :T Definitely fed up of doctors - mostly telling me that there was nothing wrong with me for years! Only found one that believed I had a problem about 2 years ago but had probably had it for 12 years at that point

Have you had it at this price before? I paid just over £9 for the 5litre, it's such great stuff though and made from plant extract. <3 Suma I want a shop full of Suma products :D
