Just like to say HI

I have been reading this thread for a few days now and I think I have just about got it :T

I have been been building a stock up now for about 10 months, love a bargain and using money off coupons.

Any how, I know it's late, but just worked out in the 2 cupboards in bedroom that have excess amounts of washing liquids/ comfort/ hand wash etc you get the picture I have amounted ............................

OMG just under £400 worth of products

Will try and work out the rest of my "shop" over the next couple of days/weeks as it is every where - loft, dd bedroom, garage to name a couple of hiding places :rotfl:

Keep up the good work everyone . My aim for feb is to only buy fresh fruit/veg and milk from purse 1, the rest is to be purchased from my shop.

Thanks for letting me join in, sorry about the long post, just excited :D
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    One for the shopping list

Asda currently have campbells condensed soup normally 82p each, on offer 2 for a £1, but if you use the 20p off coupon x 2, from the coupon thread it makes them 30p each. HTHs

I bet you feel 1,000,000 times better now :) That's 3/4 of the months food done. Does anyone know where to get some cheapo chinese takeaway containers from? I want to start batch cooking my lunch/dinner for when I change jobs. I might get back really late, or not work in an office with a microwave, so batch cooking will stop me getting take out, but no idea where to get them cheap.

I dont know if it's the cheapest but they have sets of 8 foil ones in the 99p shop, and same in Poundland but also the plastic ones - both with lids.

    Hello to all the newbies:wave:

I just had an email from My Supermarket that they've added a new page to the website for 2 for 1 deals: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/shelves/2_for_1_in_sainsburys.html

Im doing some flying today so if I can get the babies to nap at the same time Ill start an inventory of the regular grocery cupboards and see if I can add to Polkadot Palace.

Today is my first day alone with the three children today-the school run this morning went quite well...hope the rest of the day does too.

I used to get mine from the £ shop...can't remember how many in a pack though, sorry.

I went to L1dl & A1di yesterday with OH, just to have an explore (it's a lot further from home than Mr M so haven't ever really been. We bought a few bits and pieces and I've made mental notes for future trips but no shop purchases for this week. Is is odd that I'm a little disappointed by that? :rotfl:

I still haven't paid 2nd purse for items taken last week as still need to do a proper stock take and pricing. I have to pop to Mr M this eve to get fresh bits that I didn't find in L/A so will note prices then and hopefully be all square by the end of Jan :D

Afternoon everyone. I still have £10 in my second purse, planning to put in another £10 this week. I have decided I am only going to use this money for bulk purchases and not for half priced individual standard sized or reduced items. If that's ok of course. I always try to find bargains as obviously it increases the value of my weekly budget and s-t-r-e-t-c-h it further and I can't really afford to 'buy' everything at full price IYSWIM. Plus I would get totally confused with all the receipts. However, having a purse of money for any bulk purchases will be great because I can't normally afford to take advantage of these. I hope this is not against the rules.

Also if possible I will try and put a bit extra in my second purse when I can afford it because then I willl have even more bulk purchasing power. I cannot wait to get started, but I am being so good at the moment.

    Have a good day everyone!

There are no 'rules' as such - just do what suits you ;) Good luck with it
