Morning all,
Just back from a wonderful wedding in Scotland - they have all the sunshine at the minute!
Just a few items from SP this weekend. I used the Aldi £5.00 off voucher again and bought 4 x bleach and 5 x washing up liquid. No cost to me, so all good.
Need to go to Costco next weekend before the loo roll deal ends, so will probably end up spending a bit in there. I'm hanging on to my money as well at the minute. I now wait for the really good offers before opening the SP!
Enjoy the bank holiday everyone :beer:0 -
Morning all,
I'm suspending second pursing until the end of the month - I've had to withdraw the money in my SP and add it back to my normal food budget and it's still going to be tight until paydayI think I've been overcharging myself to be honest, so I'm going to begin afresh on payday.
I'm in the good position though of having LOADS of stock in the SP cupboard, so when I need things until payday e.g. washing up liquid I'm not going to pay myself. I can settle up on payday if I think I can afford it, but otherwise I'm going to take these items as a bonus. Te$co wouldn't give me free washing up liquid :rotfl::rotfl:
I still think the system is going to work for me - I just need to do some tweaking!0 -

FF that's exactly how I feel this month too, but I think I am going to still keep a tally of what I use from MunniMart and see how much it comes to. I am still really struggling on getting my head around it, even though I do understand the concept! How mad is that? Am going to keep on plugging away, coz until a time comes when I know which way works best for me then I don't think I'll ever get it fully and will continue to confuse myself (god I must be thick:o)When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

I quickly decided it was easier to pay myself back at the start of each month, otherwise I seemed to run out of normal grocery budget.
What I love about this though is that when money is a bit tight, there's plenty of food in the house

Hi everyone,
DR and AF orders are due this week. All items are stock for CAZCO so will update my stock totals when I have my goodies. Is it sad to be looking forward to these deliveries.....(don't answer that......)

Hi
I would like to join in please. We are planning on taking the children to blackpool for half term in October to see the lights and would like to save for that. My second purse will be £50 and then third purse I am aiming for £150.
I have a huge stock of food etc already which I have bought when deals have been on so will pay to second purse anything I use up from that.
I put £10 in my purse on 1st June and have spent £3.40 already. Will put £2 back in for the frozen summer fruits that I started using yesterday which only cost £1 in iceland.
Will track back and see what ideas everyone else has.0 -
