    Good afternoon SPers!

Sorry I've been a bit AWOL and I have to admit I haven't kept an eye on my stock the past few days because.....

I've been busy with my brand new baby girl!!!! :D :happylove

She arrived on Friday 8 days early and has taken up pretty much all my time since coming home from hospital on Saturday. I still plan to carry on with SP but need to settle in with her for a few more days then can get back on track. I was completely up to date on Friday so just need to do a stock take and move the money to get back on track!

Oh, how lovely, many congratulations :T:T:T

My baby girls have their birthdays this week.....one was 20 yesterday and the other is 22 tomorrow but it seems like just 5 minutes since they were born :rotfl:

    Hi everyone.

Just a quick one as it's a bit hectic here at the moment. Unfortunately, the kitchen tap needed replacing, so I had to hit the third purse again for £44.50. I know this is not what I intended for my third purse, but I am so glad I had the money saved. I have now bought a replacement glass for my oven door and the tap from my purse which totalled £97.48! So I will just have to start again for my shower unit.

Am I here on me own now? no-ones commented since in nearly 15 hours

Im thinking of changing my mind on my 3rd purse savings and putting it all in my pot toward christmas, if im honest I dont need an actifry but I do need to make sure I have the money for christmas, especially as I want to be debt free by christmas and it feels a bit wrong to *hopefully* declare myself debt free in december then whip the CC out because DD wants a new bike/DS or what ever else comes into her head and I cant afford it IYSWIM :o

Hopefully Sue-UU isnt going to say I cant pop the money in my tin, maybe i'll go half and half? half for the tin, half for the actifry? I'll keep thinking . . .

I am here jakes-mum, but it is very quiet, isnt it?!! :D

I need to settle up with SP but have been unwell, so havent been out to get cash......SP and 3rd Purse here is strictly cash
    only :rotfl:

I think its good to be flexible about our cost cutting, savings etc......so if Christmas is what you decide you want to keep the SP money for, you enjoy doing just that :T:T:T

oh no! hope your feeling better now :( My SP is strictly cash as well, I find it hard to explain that I have £60 in my 3rd purse but im skint, its not 'my' money is it, its money ive clawed back from the SM :rotfl:. I hate saying no to my kids at christmas and birthdays, im really not one of those weekend present buying parents, ive got to be in a really good mood or they have had to be extremely overly helpful round the house to get toys out of me (They get pocket money so they can save for stuff, im teaching them MSE early just like I was). So if they ask for a bike for christmas I want to get them one as I kind of see it as accumulating all their incidental prezzies into 2 great days :o.

I think I will do half and half as that gives me peace of mind should anything require fixing etc, I wont have to crack open the tin to get my savings out, omg im so indicisive :rotfl::rotfl:
