So sorry that I haven't posted on here for months - really struggle with the time but I've kept at it! Have made a few changes to my system though, having had to use my 3rd purse money to bail me out of a dire situation. Now I''m just buying stock back at the price I paid for it which is consistently keeping my grocery bills down. More than half of my shoppping comes from the loft shop now and I reckon I'm saving over £100 - £150 month. Very happy with this, just hope noone views this as failing. Sorry not to contribute - will try harder because I'm so grateful to you all for being there when I need some inspiration - THANK YOU xx

ps signature is way out of date - will tackle that soon. Have £500 stock : )

Well done for keeping at it, and the £500.00 stock. It is your purse your shop your prices so which ever way works for you and yours. :)
    2nd purse £50.00
    3rd purse £100.00

I wouldn't worry, I've technically been stealing from my shop these past few weeks as I haven't been paying back my purse....too much debt repayment and work not paying me back my expenses on time. Now we definitely could not do that if we were shopping from the SMs :)

What a strange month, not spent much at all.

    1st Purse
I only spent £23 on perishables leaving £50.19 from May's balance. I have £250.19 After adding Junes £200 Monthly GB.
    1st Purse Balance £114.19

    2nd Purse
I bought 6 Packs of the Plenty kitchen rolls (36 Rolls from C@stc@)
    Total spend £32

2nd Purse Balance from May £46

I used 28 Meals from the freezer @ £3 each = £84 + took £50 worth of stock from stores. Add £10 for June. Total owed to 2nd Purse £144+ £46 already in it = £190.
    I'm transferring £90 to 3rd Purse leaving £100 float in 2nd Purse.

    3rd Purse

    New Balance is £290.94

I'm under £10 off my target of £300

I wont buy the Freezer just yet though, I don't really feel much like shopping, my step son has been in hospital for the last 16 days, so we don't know how much time he has left. I've not had a chance to catch up with all your posts, but from what I have seen you are all giving it @ldi xxx Love and Light to all of you 2nd pursers.

Thinking of you Mothership and you step son :(

Im thinking I need to up my grocery budget a bit as is it me or has the cost of food risen again? My pennies just dont seem to be stretching as far as they were 6 months ago and tbh im struggling to stick to £50 a week for 4 of us. Im running at about £10 a month over budget, not too much but still its £10 im not really budgeting for IYSWIM

EDIT: Just had a look on my spreadsheet and the last time I bought meat was on 13th May which was some diced chicken, all other meat was before then, no wonder ive run out :rotfl:

Oh knickers-knotted - wish I came on here last night as I ordered some meat from DR and had I done so would have seen the code from Kerri:mad:

Thank you anyway Kerri :T- will remember next time to check in here first and see if anyone has a code (lesson learned, me thinks;))

Could you cancel it and re-order or is there an update button that you can add the discount in (im sure you can edit your order to add other stuff to it, in which case you should go through check out again?)

Not sure about that - thanks J-M :Twill go and check now as I need to change the date of delivery as I have 3 freezers that are stuffed and I cannot fit the order in right now anyway ...... off she toddles:p

edit: Just checked now and it doesn't look like you can doing any change to an order online, so will ring them in the morning re change of delivery date and ask them then about the 20% off discount. Mind you, I did ring them earlier today (before the discount code discovery and lack of freezer space) as I had a booklet through post this morning and it said 2 burgers free with each order and could these be added to my order as it was only processed last night and the woman said that because I had had an offer of butchers special, I was not entitled to the free burgers - this offer was on full price items only. It doesn't actually say that on the literature, so I think a little email may be winging it's way to DR!!!
