Eeeeeeeeeeee! My Donald Russell order arrived :j :j I just love opening that big box and seeing all the goodies :D My free gift was in there too, the steak selection :D OMG those packs of diced steak are huuuuuuuuuge! Lots of left overs on the next stew day (which will have to be soon as im dying to try it as I dont eat mince or burgers so havent tried any DR meat yet :rotfl:)

Had to force it all in the freezer as I really did think we would have got through some of the food in the freezer by now but no, it was still choc full so I have had a shuffle round and just got it all in . . . no more freezer food for this month at least, will order the burgers for end of may I think :rotfl:

much as I love the idea of SP its not working for me - I can't keep up with whats gone form the stores and its wreaking my grocerries budget - I have rarely gone over til the last 2 months and now have done twice. I'm so used to paying the best prices that my budget can't cope with having to shell out close to the rrp for anything - even if the money is coming back to me I just don;t have it there to give.

i do like having a seperate bit of cash for bulk buying so will contiue to shave £5-10 per week out to do that rather than pay for items as I use them. Much less stresful than having to keep spreadsheets and price lists!

I'm very grateful for the inspiration to try AF which we now all love

Sorry to hear you are leaving us Rachbc, but I understand what you mean. Good to hear that you had found AF, which we are very big fans off in this house too!

Yay - bought my SECOND item yesterday with 3P :j:j- the vacuum seal from Lakel*nd at a cost of £54. Had a go last night and was impressed. Only £6 odd now left in 3P, but GB owes is around £40 so is back on the way up.:D

Am really tempted to order more DR meat, but have so much in the freezer am resisting temptation and have to keep telling myself that these offers will be around again - not easy though, especially as my OH says it is the best steak he has EVER tasted;)

I've found my grocery shop is probably about the same as it used to be, however I have more money in my pocket. So I've been using my SP money to pay off my debts whilst I eat my way through my stockpile. The biggest difference it's made is to make me stop sleep-shopping and the bulk buying has saved me a small fortune. Sorry to see you go rachbc :)

Yay, another £5 to the 3rd purse today - can definitely see the benefits now!! Am also resisting the DR temptations at the moment, have a delivery coming on the 10th May for over £100 worth - so that will keep me going for a while, I don't want to shell any more out at the moment, I assume they will be trying to tempt me with more offers soon - hope they are good ones!!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

The best thing about SP'ing is that I very rarely go to the SM's anymore (only to fleece them of their offers that is). Meat from DR, Bread and milk from FF, bits and bobs from L*dls/AF and the rest from Munnimart - love it! Oh yer and a shed load of profit for me, me, me:D
