Wow you are going to be busy :T good luckI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Came on here (some 2 hours later) to see what everyone had posted and lo and behold the recipe was the last post:j. Quickly made them and they are yummy! Still room for improvement coz even an easy recipe like this one is quite complex for me:p, but they taste nice and the kids like them.... so happy dayz:T:T
Thanks for the recipe Addicted :T- just need to perfect it now:rotfl::rotfl:
edit: just to let everyone know that today I also tried the bread and butter pudding (looks lush, but that is for desert so haven't tried it yet), and an apple pie - ooh get me!:rotfl::rotfl: Also made a lamb stew (Mothership's recipe, thank you:T) and a lamb balti (from a jar, sorry not got that adventurous with curry just yet:o). Before though I would have used all the lamb on one recipe and either put some in the freezer or had it for a few meals, but today split it in half, stretched it out with some oats and have enough for 2 different meals for 4 people and most probably enough left over to freeze - so I must be getting better at all of this - oh yes and it's fun too, now that I am a professional shopper:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Hi Munnimuncha - you are not going mad as I had put the recipe on the Grocery Challenge thread yesterday but then when I got asked for the recipe on this thread, I put it on here as well (I don't know how to do the clever links that some people do).
I'm glad the biscuit making went well for you. The ones I made yesterday have already been scoffed so I'll have to make some more tomorrow. Thanks for your meal ideas - I might have to steal them
. You are right, this is fun. I think I used to spend my time shopping instead of making things and planning meals but this is much more fun and leads to saving money instead of debt :j.

That's so cute!
Helen's Hideaway is starting to pay off - I have an updated total of:
£70.33:D
Ok, so some of that is money that I've deposited but not spent as haven't found the bargains, but I'm still happy with that
Edit: actually, I've paid in £110 but spent £114.44 on stock so actually can claim all of that as profit. Plus I still have £112.35 in stock :T Happy happy Helen

A bit of quick question................
I have owed my SP for a few weeks now and this next weekend I wll be able to correct that. So I will have £100 in my 2nd P and £43.96 in my 3rd P....................
......................ok SO if I buy some beans :rotfl:with my 2nd P, I will have less than £100 again, do I replace that money with buying from my own stock or do I take the money from 3rd P (which seems odd, first one makes more sense to me)Debt Free Diary - Second Chances!
