I usually buy Douwe Egberts Pure gold medium roast 190g @ around £6. However as I was nearing the end of my last jar and couldn't find any offers, I had a wee look around to see if I could find something similar. I bought a 500g tin of SB's Gold Roast freeze dried @ £6.91 its EXACTLY the same coffee. I really couldn't tell the difference and neither could my OH, I topped up the DE jar with the SB's one LOL. I've got a few vouchers for SB's £4 off a £40 spend, so I will be buying more of it.
While i was in SB's I picked up some oven dishes for my two daughters. The large ones were reduced to £3.60, a bit smaller £3 and an oval one @ £1.50 plus a small casserole for £1.50 about £60 worth for around £22. They are as good as my Le Creuset ones, this is the ones I paid £3.60 for...

My DR order came today as well and was delivered 10 minutes after I left the house, so was a bit concerned that it was all going to be defrosted before I got home, but no, everything still frozen and looking lovely. Can't wait to order again, when I shall get my recommendation gift (got £21 worth of meat) and also have had an email giving me 20% of my next order. Not sure if I can give you the code or if this is just to me - if someone could advise me on this I would be grateful, and if I can share the code, I most definitely will :T
Just re-posting this from my post yesterday as I know it was a rather long one and might have got missed - happy Saturday everyoneWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. One more thing, sorry,:o but has anyone had the mini roasts from DR please? They seem a little small for a roast dinner so was just wondering whether they would be a good buy or not - There are 4 in our family so would one roast do 4 for a sunday roast? Am doing a Mothership and going to order my meat for next month, seeing as I have 20% off code, free delivery and not forgetting QUIDCO this time:j:jWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. If you go through Quidco, you will get 12% off ( I think there's only 4 days left of this offer) then put this code in when your checking out CHS11E5118 you will get a further 10% off all delivery is free.
I worked out the £22 mince deal with both of the above comes in at around £18.32 with Quidco and the code. That works out at around £2.22 per pack. GREAT DEAL!1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

Over the last year or so I have bought smaller and smaller joints, my lot decided that they would rather have the roast with just a couple of slices of beef than not have any at all
I just bought a 700g joint and will cut it into 2, for 2 weeks and there is 3 of us.Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
Been to the farm and bought some sausages, there was some really lovely looking meat but at £10 for a chicken  I had to leave them there
Have spent the last hour explaining the 2nd purse to DH and he is fully impressed with the whole system  and is even allowing me space in his sanctuary (the garage) for stockpiling   I feel so honoured! nearly 7 years we've lived here and I have never been allowed anything but the dryer in there :rotfl:
Got your PM sunflowerjust waiting for Eddi to be ready to refer me and I will be ordering and refering immediately (not that im totally over excited to get meat in the post or anything
