  • My 2nd purse is very poor at the moment :(, can't wait til payday to top it back up again :).

This week I've added a bottle of B00ts conditioner to my stockpile - it was on 2-4-1 and I bought them both from my points instead of paying the £1.99 :D. One bottle went straight to the bathroom the other is in the stockpile ready and waiting ;).

I'm enjoying reading the posts, even though I'm not posting very often...hope that changes soon ;).

  • My 2nd purse is still empty.......I owe it around £20. :(

And my 1st purse is empty because I gave the little bit left to my Sealed Pot. :(

However, if anyone wants any clothes washing or fabric conditioning, dishes washed or botties wiped - I am positively AWASH with stuff to do that!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I orgainsed my fridge/freezer (it's one of those American side by side ones and SO hard to find stuff in) - I found loads of 1/2 price meat I had been getting YS from the little Co-op.

Only ever find the occassional thing, but I must have been buying it, freezing it and then forgetting about it, cos there was loads ;)

My youngest DD and Grandson are moving into their own flat, so I have filled her freezer and cupboards with stuff from Sallys Stores (at no charge of course, sorry SP :o ) .

I have managed to leave one shelf empty in the freezer, ready for my DR order which is due on Monday.......and I cannot wait to get it :T even though I only found the discount code AFTER I placed the order :p
  • Thanks Mrs A & Fozzie :), it's good to know I'm not the only one :p.

I've had a couple of bargains this evening -

went to Te$co and got a 3m turkey foil reduced to 75p, the box was damaged and had been sellotaped. Then, in £-strchr, Typh00 tea bags - 240 for £2.99. Just checked 4sda and these are normally £1.50 for 80, so well pleased :D.

I've put 40 teabags into the jar, but the rest and the foil have gone into my stash :p.

    Happy Been ;)

If you go through Quidco, you will get 12% off ( I think there's only 4 days left of this offer) then put this code in when your checking out CHS11E5118 you will get a further 10% off all delivery is free.

I worked out the £22 mince deal with both of the above comes in at around £18.32 with Quidco and the code. That works out at around £2.22 per pack. GREAT DEAL!

Thanks Mothership, I have ordered that with some pork meatballs and pork mince (enjoyed the other stuff I had the other day, so am going to order some more) but when I put your code in, it doesn't change the total? Maybe that code is just for you? I did put in the code they gave me with the letter for a 20% discount, but that just come up with a £3 discount, whereas it should be £9.60 - not sure what I am doing wrong here either

I'm a member of bookers and it's 5 mins from me so i may have a little wander round there on payday as i'm running low on a few things. Polkadot- If I plan to go to lakeside i will see if you are around first :D i rarely go though as DD gets car sick so bad it puts me off going further than 5 mins from home lol

is that the one at Crayford DFW? I didnt rate B00kers at all compared with C0stc0-from a stock point of view, but more from service-there wasnt any. How old i your DD?I plan to kee C0stc0 trips for weekdays whist DS1 is in school and Ill do B00kers for chocolate mice on the wekend after my weight watcher meeting as I felt like a criminal in there the other day as I had dd in the sling and DS2 in the buggy:(

Dh is taking us all to the local farm who make their own sausages, we are not sure how much they cost or what else they sell so are off to have a scout round and it seems they let the kids go see all their animals as well (dont think i'll inform DD where some of them will end up )
I have a Kenwood Major and a few yearrs ago I used rainforest voucher to get a mincer and sausage press for the major-We often buy a pork belly and beef joint for DH to make boerewors with.We still have to go to the South African shop for the right spices-and that can get pretty expensive...but we have boerie for ages after:)

Speaking of chocolate mice, I raided the baking cupboard last night and hunted down all the packets of chocolate buttons as Ive nt really kept track.I found 16 packets so I paid the purse £6.40 and have written them off. Ill let DS's finish them at will and then track the mice. So after that I have £19.18 in the purse, and also cant wait for payday...and Im one of the lucky ones who gets 2 each month;)

Weight Watchers today was terrible, only lost 0.5Lbs,although if Im honest I really didnt try at all this week. So i have my water bottle filled,Ive tidied my desk so I can find all the food magazines Ive taken out for inspiration, and my ww magazine arrived today too. I did send an impromtu £40 at meeting on a weight watchers scale (kitchen) as I thought with DH cooking so often he could at least have a rough idea of what points cost,so I know it was a valuable spend.
I got home to find DH running up and down the stairs with DD as it was the only thing he could do to keep her happy. I took her from her and fed her (he says she wont take the haberman feeder at all) and then we went for a nap on my bed (we were up until 3am this morning and I was shattered. woke up after dark and tthen cuddled more on the couch:)Now she's i her basket next to my desk whilst I catch up here:D
  • I've changed my mind about not buying DH beer - just put in my first ROSSPA order and they have 12 cans(440ml) Ste!!a for £7.50! Think I can make a profit out of him :rotfl:

I'm just about to sit down and work out what's happening with my purses. I went to Costco yesterday but had to use my card as I was buying for a friend too, so there's some maths to be done!

I've also opened a new bag of catfood and another packet of biscuits for Mr Fresian, so there's funds to go into the SP from there. I think I will shortly have a headache :D
