Completely. The early bird gets the fresh produce in Aldi. There's no price advantage to going in the evening, either - the only time I've seen YS is the cheese truckles one Christmas Eve.

Visited Aldi yesterday evening around 8pm - usually we go in the morning.

Amazed to find so many empty shelves (no grapes, no satsumas, no long-life filtered milk for example, but any number of other produce items sold out). Just excuses from the deputy manager, claiming it was because everything needed to be fresh.

If this had been my first visit to Aldi it would certainly also have been the last!

I suspect Aldi is struggling to cope all round. In a branch in Hythe, Kent two days ago Aldi's own brand bloomer loaves (one of its big successes I have read) had just a day or so left on them and some were past the sell by date. Stock control is a definite weak spot for the chain and one I hope they are working on.

    I love Aldi's hobgoblin ale

it's got nothing to do with Aldi it's brewed by Wychwood Brewery in Oxfordshire.

Hmm. Massive amount of effective MSG there - in the parmesan. If anyone posted a processed snack with that amount of MSG in it would you not be outraged? :)

I gave up alcohol at Easter. G&T crisps to me is proof that God exists.

The programme looks like a follow-up to the previous one. Let's hope this one is a bit less sensationalist than that one was.

It's on next Monday at 8pm on C4.

I'm sorry but you are going to be seriously DISAPPOINTED.

Proof that god definitely doesn't exist.
(However Walker's Smoky Bacon could just convince me the opposite)

Suggest you start hitting the bottle again.

Unless you have a serious medical condition that prevents you, not sure why you gave up in the first place.
