In the Port-talbot Aldi the premium cat food ( jelly ) has disappeared for the last few weeks my Cat just loves it! I asked the manager of the store he mumbled something about supply problems can anyone shed any light on this. Thanks
if you dont understand / hear what the manager is saying then surely you should ask him again ? or contact aldi head office ?0 -
I agree with all you said but it is a bit off putting if you have gone into a store a specific item that you require like VfM4meplse did, especially when its a standard stock item, not a limited weekly offer.
Lidl golden pineapples taste wonderful btw. Aldi's taste watery in comparison.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Has anyone cooked the Specially Selected Aldi frozen venison burgers?
It doesn't say on the box whether you are supposed to defrost them before cooking or cook from frozen. It just says to grill for 12 minutes.
Surely frozen burgers won't cook in 12 minutes, - yet it doesn't tell you to defrost them!
Any ideas? I was going to cook them for dinner tonight but I'm confused!0 -

Pommes noisettes (frozen potato balls) from the French week in Lidl were marked down to 30% off so 69p today in Lidl and lovely they are too.0

Wouldn't mind trying the Kangaroo burgers, but at £8+ kg. no way.
At half price might hop to it.0 -
I get the ALD1 wholemeal sliced bread, and it's fine, along with the tortilla wraps, n part baked rolls
I also buy lots of plants, bedding plants there, n they always thrive well:D Grandcat has decided she doesn't like the ALD1 pouches now"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I have bought a number of both summer and winter flowering tubs and baskets from Aldi over a couple of years. They have all done really well and in fact I have got a second year out of some by protecting them from frost over the winter.
I have one with peach coloured begonias by my front door now. It is just starting to fade as it's had a battering over the last few days.
So cheap it's not worth planting them myself.0 -
Glühwein is back in stock in Aldi :j0
