I tried the salt and chilli ribs from the Aldi chiller last night - very nice, fell off the bones so no waste of meat.
I can't remember if anyone gave the Aldi salted caramel Magnum lookey-likeys the nod, but ooh, they are really nice. Not many left in my Aldi, always a giveaway of a really nice product.
For anyone getting into the courgetti fad, courgettes are one of the Aldi Super 6 for the next couple of weeks.
I love courgetti with bolognaise sauce. I looked at all the fancy spiralizer machines for sale and decided my julienne peeler does the same job !!0 -

Re the spiraliser, I shouldn't say this as I was given one to review for free by an Amazon seller, but yes, you can do the same thing with a julienne peeler!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
As Lidl have a £5 off £40 shop available instore magazines, valid to Aug 2nd, I have been informed, I wonder if Aldi will re-introduce their vouchers, I miss them.Do I need it or just want it.0

It appears that only a few stores have them where they mixed up the delivery of the magazines. My store didn't have them. There is a discussion about it on HUKD.0 -

Previously the store copies have never had the £5 coupon on the back - these voucher versions have been included in a Saturday edition of the Daily Mail.

Aldi Soupreme cup-a-soups are lush! Tried the tomato and basil one this week and for someone who generally detests any form of tomato soup other than Heinz tinned or home-made, I can honestly say I really enjoyed this one! Big thumbs up from me0

New products at Aldi...
- Foodie Market 5 x individual flapjacks (small, but currently reasonable value at 75p) (Fruity or Oaty varieties).
- Also the big flapjacks previously branded Holly Lane (like the cakes), are now Foodie Market. Still 49p each.
Both products now in a permanent home with the other muesli bars and dried fruit.
Random observations...
- Grandessa Peanut Butter is now in a plastic jar.
- Pita Breads now 42p for 6, in different packaging and slightly smaller/different shape.
Anyone tried the Aldi Decaffeinated Tea?0 -

I usually break them into 4 or 5 pieces so works out okay.
I will check out B&M next time I am in the vicinity.0
