Good and bad buys from Aldi and Lidl

Thanks. I'll have a look tomorrow. Asda didn't have anything I fancied today.

I'm not sure about the "normal" cheese, Maman. I'll be the only one eating it so a selection pack may be more economical if I want a few different cheeses. I normally ony get Cheddar as everyone will eat that but fancy a change, just for me

I bought Christmas Pudding Wensleydale yesterday at Aldi ! Not tried it yet, it's my treat for Xmas day They had about 3 or 4 different packs with assorted cheeses in.

Personally I prefer to buy the 80g truckles on Christmas eve when they are reduced to 1/2price

Cannot remember specifics , but Lidl definately have had extra/different cheese in for past couple of weeks. Mostly under their "Deluxe" range

Was passing today - and they didnt have any of the more interesting looking flavoured stuff left - so you may be out of luck with Lidl

Loads of specially selected flavoured cheeses in aldi today, all sorts from champagne flavoured to christmas pud flavoured!
Some cheese selections that looked ok. Much prefer to get a load of my favourites!!

There's a voucher in today's Express for £5 off £40 at Lidl if that's of interest to anyone - and doubtless a warning of hurricanes and a plague of locusts on Christmas Day.
