Does anyone know whether Aldi or Lidl are doing any cheese selections for Christmas?

How do they compare per kg with 'normal' cheese? Personally I prefer to buy a bit of each of the ones we really like.

Thanks. I'll have a look tomorrow. Asda didn't have anything I fancied today.

I'm not sure about the "normal" cheese, Maman. I'll be the only one eating it so a selection pack may be more economical if I want a few different cheeses. I normally ony get Cheddar as everyone will eat that but fancy a change, just for me

I bought Christmas Pudding Wensleydale yesterday at Aldi ! Not tried it yet, it's my treat for Xmas day :) They had about 3 or 4 different packs with assorted cheeses in.

Personally I prefer to buy the 80g truckles on Christmas eve when they are reduced to 1/2price :D

Cannot remember specifics , but Lidl definately have had extra/different cheese in for past couple of weeks. Mostly under their "Deluxe" range

Was passing today - and they didnt have any of the more interesting looking flavoured stuff left - so you may be out of luck with Lidl
  • Loads of specially selected flavoured cheeses in aldi today, all sorts from champagne flavoured to christmas pud flavoured!
Some cheese selections that looked ok. Much prefer to get a load of my favourites!!

There's a voucher in today's Express for £5 off £40 at Lidl if that's of interest to anyone - and doubtless a warning of hurricanes and a plague of locusts on Christmas Day.

I'm like Pavlov's bloody dog, I know I don't need anything but am wondering what Lidl has on offer this week that could easily take me to £40..... :(
