Aldi fresh pastry. Loads for your money and good when in a hurry as its ready rolled.
Saw some strange grapes strawberry flavour? What's that all about?
Also this week they have a selection of bee and insect houses at £7.99. I know its not food but they are good value as garden centres are charging double that.
I also really like aldi pickled beetroot.
Can't think that they would have attracted so many customers if their quality was not good.0 -

They are huge - nearly 6oz when I worked out how much 170g is in old money - so I think next time, we would have half each or maybe two between 3 of us. Really tasty alternative to burgers, very pleased
(Only bought them as I had a 50% off voucher from paper last week! but would buy again at full price. I guess that's the idea of the vouchers...)
Tried these too and agree ...also love their frozen fish ibatter as they are huge0 -
Hi, good helpful thread this.
I'm going to do my first Aldi shop next week. Can anyone say what their jarred herbs and spices are like please? Ta.0 -

In fact that applies to pretty much everything Aldi and Lidl sell - it's pretty much the same stuff as all the other supermarkets, but at much lower prices because they operate much more efficiently and at much lower profit margins.0
